Does anyone know demographics of this site? People assume that it's usually straight white males that are opposed to all the DEI shit games but I usually find that minorities have as much distain for it as everyone else.

By proxy of knowing english to be able to use gaf, u got high probability to be white(even USA who is supposed to have high population of black ppl, thats barely 13% in 2022, other western countries are below that and not by lil.
Wiki says 93% of men are straight in the west, so even with just those 2 simple infos u can tell at least 90% of gaf is male, white and straight, and since we are hardcore gamer's forum, that %age is likely even higher(since hardcore gamer is extremly uncommon to be female).

This a really stupid take. What more balanced venues are there? You discount people on GAF because they are on GAF? Meanwhile every purple hair infested outlet gets to write their opinions which they have done for years which started this whole forced DEI shit in the first place. Most other venues are heavily moderated so they are skewed to the left. At least on GAF you can say whatever you think so I would say GAF is the right venue.

I believe that gaming forums and then primarily sales influence the games we get. I believe most devs frequent one gaming forum or the other to kinda put their fingers on the pulse of things.

Now having said that, I find I ask myself a simple question, looking at the gaming landscape in general, did you prefer it when GAF was the primary and defacto gaming forum? Or after the bifurcation and we now have RE?
