At most AusGAF meet-ups we usually just hang out at a bar for a hour or two and then go have dinner at some place afterwards.;p (if brisbane actually has good restaurants hehehe)

I just bought zelda link between worlds.

And zelda is one of my favourite series of all time. 2 of the games are in my top 10 games of all time, with wind waker top 3.

Link between world's after 20 minutes is knocking on the door of the top 10. Fuck me.

Just bought a Vita today for $199... Immediately regretted it until I activated my PS+ and downloaded Guacamelee. Such a cool game.

Which one should you buy?

After all this, there needs to be a clear winner, and it is difficult to choose between them; both are slick, powerful, and fun to use, and while both have pretty lacklustre game selections on day one, this will change within six months or so.

In the immediate future, you really shouldn't buy either. The smartest thing would be to keep enjoying the consoles we already have and give these new machines a good six to twelve months to prove themselves, expand their game libraries, and iron out the launch day problems.

If you absolutely must buy one of them, though, I think the Xbox One currently has the edge. It has a slightly better controller, a distinctly better range of exclusive games (and the amazing Titanfall is out in March), and it actually has home network media streaming, even if it's not working quite as nicely as we'd like. The PS4 is an amazing piece of hardware, but it needs more games (and better games at that) and proper home theatre support.

Military makeover: Australian Kim Jong-un lookalike turning heads in Hong Kong
A haircut and some makeup is all it takes for an Australian musician to transform himself into one of the world's most notorious dictators, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Hong Kong-born Howard doesn't reveal his surname. When Kim inherited power from his dead father, friends teased the Australian-Chinese musician about his resemblance to the world's youngest leader.

"We joked back and forth 'Maybe I should get dressed up and do some gigs with it'. After all, I'm a musician, so it's about the performance," said Howard, who declined to give his surname in order to keep his music and impersonation careers separate.

He turned heads and drew giggles this week when he paraded down the streets of a popular shopping district in Hong Kong. During the arranged media shoot, he jokingly waved at wide-eyed passersby and posed with a pornographic magazine for photos.

"Is he the real one or is he just impersonating? I can't tell them apart. He really looks like him," said Hong Kong resident Ada Ho.

At 34, Howard is older and taller than 30-year-old Kim, but they share many facial similarities. Howard has bushier eyebrows and weighs less, but he joked that he would work on that.

On April Fools' Day, the drummer-turned-music producer chopped off his hair and, realising he could make something out of the resemblance, set up a Facebook page.

Within weeks, an Israeli production company contacted him and flew him to Tel Aviv for a hamburger commercial to rival a competitor's ad that featured an impersonator of U.S. President Barack Obama.

The clip, in which the imitation Kim abandons his plan to bomb Israel after enjoying its delicious burgers, got 400,000 online views in a country of 8 million people, Howard said.

Then came more job requests. Howard said he was asked to do an ad for a pistachio company with Dennis Rodman, a retired professional basketball player who calls the reclusive North Korean leader his friend, but the plan fell apart when he could not get his U.S. work visa in time.

Howard, who charges for party appearances, said being a Kim doppelganger can be a funny experience but he also hopes to stir up dialogue about North Korea and its human rights issues.

"I don't really have to do anything to create awareness. Just my presence," he said. "It brings the issue up in a light-hearted way. It's important to know about this country ... If they launch a missile, it could start World War Three."

Nope. Some user decided it'd be fun to make large scale changes on a system and screwed it all up. At 8:30pm. Except they went home at 4pm.

So I got to clean up their mess, except one (not really critical) bit isn't working, so I guess I know what I'm doing Monday. And am going to be bugged about it all weekend so it's like I won't really have a proper weekend.

Oh and I accidentally registered a new game on UPlay to a throwaway account because it logged me into that one for some reason and of course UPlay doesn't let you rename, merge, transfer accounts.

But I've had some pretty awesome beer tonight, so whatever I guess.

I'm spending my friday night checking a bunch of crap that my intern has done for me. I kinda hope there are mistakes so i can be super evil and email him in the middle of the night telling him to fix shit over the weekend bwaahahahahah!

GOG Black Friday sale, heaps of stuff massively discounted. You all need to buy Powerslide for $1.80. That's stupid cheap and you'd be stupid not to buy it. There's also lots of other stuff on there too, like stacks of Team 17 classics and the Tex Murphy series.

Proteus is cheap as fuck on Steam as well. I won't tell you what it's like, you just have to experience it for yourself. But man, it's well worth the $3.39US they're asking for it right now.
