You are not very good at being condescending.

It can be a boring game and it can be a great one, depending on how you decide to play it. I found it to be a great experience that I gladly spend more than 100 hours on. I made me happy the way not a lot of games do.

Was going for mildy funny but I genuinely wanted to know. I have 80+hrs in Starfield myself and first loved (and then hated) it.
By sticking with the game I meant to have 300+ or 1000 hrs or so like Skyrim numbers, when game is not nearly good enough to warrant the same.

Currently: RDR2, Ready or Not, Arma, Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, Zelda: TOTK.

What are you currently playing?

Mostly remasters, Age of Mythology, Starcraft 2, RDR1 and Darktide.
I still can't see people putting quarter of Skyrim hours in Starfield.

Thank you. I was going to reference this from a stream I saw it on last night.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is my favorite video game ever. I have been gaming for more than 40 years.
I also love The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Fallout 3.
Bethesda Game Studios was my favorite developer for a time.
I love outer space. Starfield was poised to be My Game of Forever.

It was beyond disappointing.

I want nothing to do with BGS. They are tone deaf and have not evolved. I am terrified of what is supposed to be My Most Anticipated Game Ever, The Elder Scrolls VI. At this point I view anything about or related to BGS with suspicion and disdain. Hope springs eternal, and about .09% of me think there is a chance that TES VI will be amazing, but I do not expect another Skyrim.

Wasn't the load screen that killed it for me, was the little jingle while warping/loading. Made me fucking crazy.

To the people who stick with this game, I really wanna know what other games they play on regular basis.

Would be a good study for what baseline quality they get happy with.

Quality is fine, the pull is the open space adventure plus the crafting and creative freedom on spaceships and bases.
At this point I play it on and off, I’ve done the expansion now so I pop in around updates similar to how I’ve done with No Man’s Sky. Should jump in to try the new vehicle now. Over 300 hours logged total.

As for other games, right now I spend my time on:
Astro Bot, finished it this weekend, still have the extra levels and final multi symbol level to do.
Stellar Blade, couple hours in, linear but still great.
TLOU Part 1, doing a replay there, haven’t played it since PS3.
Death Stranding, oddly addictive, not sold on it yet though.
Black Myth, too linear for my taste but still enjoying it for the challenge.
COD BO6, positive surprise for me, campaign is awesome.
Horizon remaster, doing a replay.

But most are side dishes, the real time sinker is still Elden Ring, it’s my all time #1 and I never really stopped playing it since iaunch. I’ve been doing a faith build playthrough for awhile now.

Those star wars vehicles look nice, but those don't seem to be achievement friendly yet.

I put some decent time into the game and enjoyed it. One of the rare games where side quests can be better than the campaign. A sequel could really be something special.
