As far as final boss battles go, easily MGS3 and Skyward Sword are the two standouts from what I've played.

For non-final bosses, MGS3 (again) is one of the best with The End's sniper battle. Sin and Punishment 2 also has some great bosses, but the whole game is nuts so that's to be expected.

Uncharted 1 ending was irritating, not as bad as UC2 but still annoying. Whack a mole cover shooting gallery on that damn ship (or was it an oil platform?). At least the UC3 ending tied in better.

They were all poor though.

Ugh UC3 ending was poo. I kept glitching through the environment on the escape from the underground lair.

Splinter Cell Conviction had a great ending level too I might add.

I want to buy a Vita but I missed all the recent bargains. Now that I know how cheap it can get I will continue to hold out.

The only thing to remember is that if you have PS+ (or subscribe) you can currently get UC: Golden Showers, Gravity Daze and Mutant Blobs for free.

When you think that you can get a Vita for $250 at JB (with Fifa and Little Big Planet), add on a PS+ 3month subscription for $20 you'll get 3 games with another bunch in a week or two. It's not bloody bad.

Edit: Omi, that's a very cute picture. I've just checked my shoes and there are not chocolate bears in them. Why?

Also I will think further on the Vita. Need to buy a 32gb card too and that's $100 and then there's uncertainty about the future of the system too.

People call it a QTE, but it was just the standard Brutal Combo only with a more cinematic camera. I thought it was awesome because as I ran in I was getting ready to try it anyway (since you were unarmed and Brutal Combo was your only option in that situation). I thought it was awesome.

Well, I just bought a Vita + AC3 Liberation + 4G card bundle off Amazon for US$250... Pre-ordered a bunch of PS3 games to save on shipping too (shipping was $40 total for the 6 products). I don't know if I'll ever buy another Vita game, but I am looking forward to playing the free Uncharted and FFT I got off US Playstation Plus, and I assume LBP Vita will also go free on PS Plus eventually, so I'll hold out on that...

On another note, I just bought an iCade Core :D Plans are to mod it so there are two flipper buttons either side for pinball games, as well as dropping a 360/PS3 PCB so I can hook it up to the 360/PC and play those consoles with it too (as well as my iPhone/iPad).

Gonna Ben Heck it all up in this bitch.

Up until Friday it says on the store.


Clipper has US PS+ I am pretty sure so he will need to run his Vita US.

The unit is region free, the memory card gets locked to the account.

+1 for RSPCA, please don't buy one from a pet store (unless it's a pet store that specialises in rescue cats), besides half of the pets you see in pet store windows will end up at the RSPCA after xmas. Horrible, horrible time of year for pets.

yeah that's why I'm going a shelter.

just trying to see if there is any one in particular, as the RSPCA is great, but there are probably half a dozen that don't get attention! need to make sure I rescue just the right fella or fellete!

there seem to be a lot of white cats with issues (deaf etc) that require indoors all the time.

since I live in an apartment it would need to be an indoors cat, so i'm thinking that might be the go.

It's actually better for the cat if it's indoors only as well, not to mention the local wildlife. We have 2 indoor cats but we put up some netting around a balcony so they can still go outside, eventually we will build them a cat run so they can go in the yard as well. Not sure what floor your apartment is on, but netting in an outside area would be really good for them, not to mention a great place to put their stinky litter :D
