Cascade coming on well. There's a huge cluster 16ft off the ground so going to need a bigger ladder
From my fave bottle shop:
Fucking Costco?!
Rusty Nail didn't hit Costco up here (but Bbomb has in the past). That's weird they'd say that.
I know Rusty hit Portland and Bend a while back.
At least you have good access to great Quebec IPAs! I thought Les Trois Mousquetaires and Vox Populi had great easy to obtain IPAs when I was up there last summer.

Got to try Stone's RuinTen Triple IPA W/ Orange Peel & Vanilla Bean and their w00tstout variant with sour cherries & coffee, and they were both really good.
And I'm not even usually a fan of Stone's stuff.
Tried this beer called Still Fleek from Stillwater Artisanal Ales.
Aside from the tacky name this stout was lowkey nice lol.
Almost $100? You def got what you paid for.Had my first Coors Light today. Tasted like Stale Watery Beer. No head, no fizz, crack or pop, just a shitty beer. For $99 I got what I paid fer.

The Coors hit hard!I meant Cents!
Same brewery as Extra Dry, right? Solid stuff, only drank it when I was in the States though, don't think I've ever seen anything from Stillwater in Europe unfortunately.
You can sometimes find stuff. Hugely overpriced here, though.
Honest Brew sell a bunch of Stillwater. It's not worth the price over here when Cloudwater/Verdant etc are better and cheaper tbh.
..actually this kinda applies to all the US imports I've had. some of them are very good, but not noticably better than what you can get in Europe, and priced far higher.
Well, at least in Germany, for a lot of styles that's a very recent development. Used to be hard to get something on the level of the US stuff.
Now we're all spoiled. And Cloudwater doesn't even make it over here.

I've had some good German IPAs recently, seems like it took a while to get over there as a style though, you like your traditions
Fuerst Wiacek was the brewery, from Berlin I think.
You mean On Fleek, right? It's really terrific stuff.
2246 check ins. 942 unique. 694 badges.My Untapped is 252 check-ins, 252 unique, 269 badges.
Jesus. Just got five badges on my last Untappd checkin. Don't think I ever got so many unexpectedly on one check in before.

Overachiever
I had no idea they bumped it to 100 until tonight. When did that happen? Thanks to the bump to 100 on all of the badges, my last check in gave me 140 badges (Photogenic and Land of the Free jumped straight to 100, IPA to 90).
Also, know this was mainly last page, but I am Screaming_Gremlin on Untappd as well.

I think I may be harvesting and brewing a fresh hop cascade next week. Getting there.
I'll likely never try any of those beers that go for $400+ in the aftermarket (like vanilla militia) but I'm OK with that, lol.
Is that VM good? Ever tried Bottle Logic Fundamental Observation? That's the best vanilla beer I've had.
Oh yeah just some random beer fodder eh. Last week we beer bonged some Cantillion Fou, then I did keg stand with a keg of ManBearPig.Just a few beers from last weekend.
Cantillion Fou
Had a lot of tasty stuff last weekend down in Seattle, hoping for a repeat this weekend in Portland!
Had a nice Nitro ESB, a good Gose, a decent DIPA all from local Seattle/Washington breweries I hadn't sampled from previously (Rooftop, Reuben's and Walking Man respectively)
Of course I also had some Hop Valley and Rainier while watching baseball, and plenty of what was apparently Two Beers Evo IPA ($5 pints) in the beer garden just outside Key Arena enjoying the sun while watching Dota2 lol
Now to get ready for some Oregon beers before I'm back to drinking just water and coffee for a few months
I was just in Oregon (from the Midwest). I was only there for 2 full days, so I didn't get to check out as many breweries as I would have liked, but my favorite was Breakside Brewery. I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance.
Breakside's new Brew Lab is really awesome. I'd also recommend hitting up Upright, The Commons, Wayfinder, Great Notion, ExNovo and Hair of the Dog.
