Besides AstroBot and Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, what games use the dual sense features the best?

So I’m probably half way through RC:RA and I’m loving every second of it. I’m playing it exclusively on my Portal, and I’m so glad I didn’t play it on my phone/Backbone. I’d miss out on the great controller features.

What other games take advantage of the dual sense, besides AstroBot.

Returnal uses it best, GT7 is really good now, Demons Souls is pretty good.

But Returnal is head and shoulders above most games.
These games and a bunch of VR games use it well too. Obviously different controllers (and headset vibrations) but same concept. Feeling things flying over you head in the headset is pretty cool.

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
99% of games completely ignore this feature, or have a real limp-dick implementation. It’s sadly so underused.

Astro Bot really shows how well good haptics can enhance the feeling of a game. It’s a shame more game studios don’t give a shit.

GT7 is one of my favourites. Haptics are good, from the subtle road changes to the clunk of a gear change, with the triggers doing a decent job of letting you know when you're ragging the car a little too much.

I forgot to mention GT7. Yeah, that might be my #3.

And yeah, I can see Returnal. I just jumped off quick. I’m not a fan of Rogue type games.

How does Returnal use it? I tried it in Demon's Souls and it was just annoying after a while. I wanted to take out those two dragons using bows and arrows and had to shoot them 50+ times and the haptics just hurt my thumbs after a while.

In Astro Bot, it really enhances the experience. Besides the haptics, it also uses the gyro for controlling the spaceship, and the built-in mic to detect you blowing wind into it and it has a few different uses throughout the game.

Many VR games use them amazingly well. Other VR controllers feel lame without it now.

Both Sniper Elite 5 and Resistance use the left trigger in a great way. When you pull it half way there is a soft-stop point in which your character will shoulder aim. Press more and you start aiming down sights. They also use the right trigger as a trigger effect that is commonly seen in other games.

Forgot to mention Spider-Man 2 and GTA V use it very well.

Astrobot didn't use the touch screen. It makes me think games that skip the touchscreen might go to PC using any controller.

Control uses the Dualsense features in a fantastic way. Every gun has a different set of haptics and it's very cool the way Remedy implemented it. Makes the game incredibly immersive.

Returnal and Ratchet & Dank: Ripped a fart spoiled me with great haptics.
I use the 'sense on PC, so I get haptics (HD rumble) with Switch games too. But most games there have super weak implementation compared with the PS5. Golf Story and Hollow Knight however are neat exceptions. I'm surprised Nintendo did not push developers harder to implement it.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is still the best use out of any PS5 game that I've played.

Remember that Tango was one of the first studios to test out the controller and Shinji himself went back to Sony and said they need to tweak the design to make the unique features more impactful.

The resistant triggers when absorbing souls, feels so cool. The rumble is great too. I didn't experience the microphone too much because I used a headset but people spoke highly of that aspect.

Pretty much all of the go-to's have been mentioned, but I'll add Forbidden West. There's good feedback with the bows and other weapons as well as when you're walking through those red bushes. The pullcaster was satisfying too.

a plague tale requiem was great, especially with sling. and of course rats produce a decent haptic effect when they're around
death stranding used adaptive triggers incredibly well.
jedi survivor was not bad. especially with force pull and push

Returnal is easily the best.

BF2042 uses it pretty well. Every footstep is a little tap

Cyberpunk is not bad, especially the adaptive triggers when accelerating in a vehicle you could feel the gears shift, and when you’re breaking you could feel the ABS.

Plague Tale, feeling the increased taps from the rats is awesome.

I wish more games would use it, instard we get horrible implementation from most games which is a shame because it’s a really cool feature when it’s done right.

The one game I love and can't play, I just wished this game wasn't rouguelike. I get so close but still can't get past the first boss. I use the cloud save glitch to reload straight back to the boss but it makes it frustrating. I've literally died on this boss 50+ times. I'll put the game down and then usually try again in a couple months. The reason I won't buy Wukong.

It's so good and yet I'm so bad, my reflexes at 41 are just not there anymore.
