You keep pushing this but Xbox players don’t give a fuck that PS players are getting the game 6 months down the line.
Cute photo though!!![]()
I just started playing this like literal yesterdsy for 5 minutes. And the characters look off. Not uncanny valley something different, kind of bad i will keep playing. Fucking Troy Baker nailed the voice. Not too sure on this one.
Regardless of the great reviews, this would have been dead on arrival without being on Game Pass.
Everything they showed beforehand looked average at best with little to no hype for the actual game.
If they didn't release the Series S with a sub-60fps version, there's no way they're going to do it for PS5 Pro.I want them to offer a mode that really pushes the ray-tracing on Pro. They should drop the internal resolution to something like 1440p and use PSSR to reconstruct to 4k and then drop the frame rate to 40fps (& 30fps for non-120hz TVs). Then use the extra GPU power this frees up to go higher with RT.
Game looks and plays great on series X. Can’t imagine you’d be missing out on much compared to ps5 pro.I’m torn on this. I have gamespass but kinda wanna play it on the pro, but don’t wanna pay £70 when I technically already have it…which makes me think I should wait until it innevitavly ends up on plus.
Im probably 60% percent done with it and I feel like it leans a lot more into the clue and puzzle kind of thing than I thought it would.I'll 100% pick this up in a year or two at a 75% sale. Looks like a decent enough experience, but the backlog be beckoning with bangers upon bangers.
I had hopes that this game would lean a bit more into the clue/puzzle/archaeologist side of things. I played Fate of Atlantis for the first time a couple of years ago and IMO it's the best entry to capture that feeling, even if it's a bit archaic and 2 dimensional.![]()
I can't comment on how that part evolves throughout the game, as I obviously haven't played it yet. But early gameplay videos and impressions seems to point at mostly surface-level puzzles and looking up clues. But I could of course have been getting the wrong impression.Im probably 60% percent done with it and I feel like it leans a lot more into the clue and puzzle kind of thing than I thought it would.
Does your sidekick stop giving you hints at later point in the game? Or have they given us a setting to turn it off?
That's good to know. Thanks for the insight.I can't recall Gina saying anything particularly helpful regarding puzzles. I played a bunch of games in row in December/January and most of them had companion characters, so maybe I'm getting them mixed up. I think she would only speak up if you just stayed motionless for a long time instead of pursuing your obvious objective.
She certainly didn't offer anything of value during the "people puzzleboard" (you'll know it when you get there).
I don’t really recall her giving hints. I know you can use your camera for hints. But she’s only with you on certain main missions. I’d say the bulk of the game is explorer the levels finding stuff on your own. I don’t think it’s an amazing game by any means, but it’s a pretty darn good one in a genre I don’t think gets many games in.I can't comment on how that part evolves throughout the game, as I obviously haven't played it yet. I'll find out myself sooner or later, as I will pick this up at some point.![]()
They're just too cheap to release a 2-disc version despite charging 80€ for the base game. I'll pick it up when the physical version is on sale. The game was basically a day-one no-brainer purchase for me since I was really looking forward to a new single-player campaign from MachineGames. I found all the Wolfenstein titles very entertaining.
However, if this is true
then that’s off the table.
This trend is not worth supporting, and I refuse to buy games that are not fully present on the physical disc - patches, updates, and DLC aside.
The game has been out for several months now, most of the issues should be patched, and it should be possible to offer a nearly complete version entirely on disc.
The fact that this hasn’t been done is just ridiculous.
The game without its HD textures is like 90gb in size, isn't it?They're just too cheap to release a 2-disc version despite charging 80€ for the base game. I'll pick it up when the physical version is on sale.
