It's a PC minus all the advantages of one.
I have issues with Steam but you buy keys at cheap price not brand new Im more angry over my Dawn Of War 2 game having only 1 install left.
can't run from the bish
But what if you want to bring a game disc to a friend's house and play there? You'll have to pay a feeand not just some sort of activation fee, but the actual price of that gamein order to use a game's code on a friend's account. "Think of it like a new game", Harrison says.
Despite being the dominant player, at least Valve has plenty of competition in the PC digital space.
You'll have to connect to the Internet in order to authorize that code, and the code can only be used once. Once you use it, that game will then be linked to your Xbox Live account. "It sits on your harddrive and you have permission to play that game as long as youd like," Harrison said.
To be honest this is just further incentive for me to switch to a PC+Handheld only future.
My Rock Band music on 360 and thegamecompany/naughtydog games on PS3 are the only things that make me pause and think I might want a console next gen, and as backwards compatibility is out the window they're not particularly big pauses.
I predict they do none of those three things.
At a push, maybe they do the serial key.
what happens when it does not ?
microsoft conference is like 1 am here. fuck that shit its going to be awful anyway, sleep >> disappointing console reveal every time

Sony will fuck up E3 by announcing
- Similar Online Policy
- Similar Serial key for games
- sub for online
If they avoid anything like that I think they could get some solid sales with more hardcore gamers but mainstream won't care and lap up the X1
Wow they've killed preowned games lol.
Costs will go up because of licensing the right to sell preowned.
Then when you pay for your game you need to pay again to play it. Wow. Gg Microsoft
Well I got him to tell me DR3 is a console exclusive anyway

Aye right, it's never going to work in Scotland. Scottish accents are poison to voice recognition.
That's why you go in with low expectations (especially as MS has basically been leading up to this with their past E3s) and you just have fun mocking it with the rest of us. You missed out.I'm actually glad I didnt watch that in real time as fuck me I would've had to go to work majorly pissed
Eurogamer said:"The bits are on your hard drive. At the end of the play session, when I take my disc home - or even if I leave it with you - if you want to continue to play that game [on your profile] then you have to pay for it. The bits are already on your hard drive, so it's just a question of going to our [online] store and buying the game, and then it's instantly available to play.
"The bits that are on the disc, I can give to anybody else, but if we both want to play it at the same time, we both have to own it. That's no different to how discs operate today."
On a completely different note, does anyone here drive and have friends try and use them for their car? I had it for the first time ever with my best friend yesterday, he was going to play football quite close to my house and I was going to pick him up from his house and drive there. I get a text at 7, an hour before he was supposed to be there "I'm still with Sabrina, can you pick me up" - Sabrina lives like twenty minutes away, and I'm nowhere near ready and need to get fuel. He's never done this before and it really pissed me off, I think he gathered that when I got there and then offered me fuel money (baring in mind, it's only about 5 miles away and he gave me a tenner) so I sort of just let it slide, but if he does it again - do I just keep on taking money and think "profit" or shall I bring him up on it and say it isn't cool and he needs to sort his life out?
Back Story - My friend is definitely in the friendzone with this Sabrina girl, they hang out all the time, he clearly likes her, gets pissed off when he see's her with other guys and she comes back to him every day bitching about one guy or another.
