Does anyone have links to good videos with strategies and tips to beat Liberty Falls and Terminus as a Solo player in Directed Mode? I'd really appreciate it! The less annoying and clownish the YTuber, the better lol.

If you equip the pistol weapon (GS45?) or buy it off the wall in the opening area, then take it to the pack-a-punch machine in the church, you're on the way to becoming basically invincible. Each shot causes an explosion that can take out a huge group of zombies, so you should also get the Phd perk thing from the steps up to the church, so you don't get caught in the blast.

I set up a dual pistol build, pack-a-punched it all the way to the max, and killed zombies in directed mode until I got bored (3000+). It's quite cathartic. Even the big Wolfenstein boss things go down in one or two shots.

Thank you so much for the tips! I'm gonna try this out.

haven't played either yet, but it should be much easier than the standard mode, it caps at round 15, and zombies don't really start getting dangerous until round 20, so you could essentially keep playing until you're fully upgraded and just easily sweep the liberty falls boss; the terminus boss is quite a deal harder in standard (one of the most difficult bosses in all of zombies history), so that one is probably best to be avoided until you are comfortable with how zombies works.

That aside, there's no reason whatsoever to do it solo, just squad up and beat them both easily with 4 players.

Black Ops 6 GLOBAL

Movement

  • High Mantle Speed
    • The speed at which players pull themselves over (mantle) high ledges or walls has been increased.

Gunsmith

  • Addressed an issue where some weapons could have 9 attachments.

Firing Range

  • Players using controller input can now double-tap left on the D-Pad to inspect weapons in the Firing Range.

UI

  • Addressed an issue where some players would not see their Battle Pass progression after a match.

Events

  • Addressed an issue where the Hit List event was tracking Kills, and not Eliminations as it was intended.

Stability

  • Added various stability fixes.

ZOMBIES

Gunsmith

  • Addressed issue with ZM blueprints not equipping correctly.
Maps

  • Terminus
    • Addressed an issue where zombies would not attack players.

Stability

  • Added various stability fixes.

WARZONE PLAYLIST

After reviewing internal data, we’ve made the decision to slightly adjust the player count on Area 99, our newest Resurgence map.

The updated player counts are as follows:

  • Quads: 44 → 40
  • Trios: 45 → 42
  • Duos: 44 → 40
  • Solos: 45 → 40
These changes aim to improve the overall pacing of each match and reduce the frequency of third-party interruptions during engagements. We hope to reduce friction by striking a better balance between action and player agency, allowing players the all-important time to loot up - and get their Loadout.

In the meantime, we’ll continue monitoring feedback and data to make further adjustments if needed.

We look forward to sharing more about upcoming Warzone updates soon.

GENERAL

  • Operator Audio
    • Reduced volume of player cloth and gear sounds for carry-forward Operators from MW2 and MW3, to be more similar in volume with BO6.
  • High Mantle Speed
    • The speed at which players pull themselves over (mantle) high ledges or walls has been increased to better enable movement fluidity when climbing.

WEAPONS

  • The Akimbo attachment has been disabled for Black Ops 6 weapons.

FIRING RANGE

  • Players using controller input can now double-tap left on the D-Pad to inspect weapons in the Firing Range.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue with the Gas Mask where the unequip animation could still be encountered without player input.
    • As a reminder of the design:
      • Players will only see the unequip animation if they choose to remove it themselves.
      • The overlay will still fade away when the player is out of the gas.
      • Player controls and aim will not be overridden or interrupted by the Gas mask. Period.
  • Fixed an issue where some weapons could have 9 attachments.
  • Fixed an issue where some players would not see their Battle Pass progression after a match.
  • Fixed an issue where the Hit List event was tracking Kills, and not Eliminations as it was intended."

All these updates are cool but we need new maps ASAP. I'm nearing 100 hours and the selection is starting to feel stale, I keep going because the gameplay feel is so damn good, addicted to the combat.

Directed mode tells you exactly where to go, so you don't really need many specific tips for Liberty Falls other than to get the pistol and upgrade it to max in the church. (Also max out the rarity of it in the arsenal machine.) Just keep blasting zombies until you've bought all the perks.

Keep moving, and if you get surrounded, shoot a few rounds into the floor and they'll be blown 50 ft into the air. The only danger is boredom, because it takes thousands of kills to earn enough cash.

When you meet the named enemies that you have to kill to extract their essence, get them down to near death (five or six hits) then lure them into a purple force field thing before finishing them off. I don't think I'd do it again, once was enough.

Terminus is twice as long and way more puzzle based than Liberty Falls. Ive made it to the end boss once (and wiped) which took us 2 hours or so to reach. With a lot of running around figuring things out. Im working on doing it solo, so I can take a break or save.

That’s a you problem for playing so much in such a short amount of time

What a remarkably stupid post. No, general consensus is that the map selection overall was weak to begin with so it feels less compelling than past entries. However, the Omnimovement and moment to moment action is some of the best the series has ever seen hence the reason I'm still hooked.

uses 'M$' - What year is it? Not 2002.

What is everyone's favorite pistol in BO6? I'm working with them right now in MP for camos and to also set up for Solo Zombie antics.

I feel like the Stryder was better at release. I have it smithed with tons of Handling but it still feels weird sometimes.

WHAT SAY YOU, COD?!?

Cool your jets. The one thing COD has not skipped on over the past 5 years are free maps. You normally get anywhere between 3-5 per season. You will soon be swimming in them, and complaining there are too many and that your favourites never come up.

Zero chance of that happening, I play a lot of fucking games and chances are in a month (max) I would have moved on, may or may not return over time, it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️
Well, if you choose to move on after a month, then that’s on you. COD is a year long game, and gets amazing support.

You are probably aware, but the devs release their roadmaps for every season, and you may be glad to know there are another 2 maps coming very soon (mid season 1).

Best advice I can give is that you don’t need to play COD exclusively. Play your other games in tandem.

Alternatively, give COD a break and come back in 6 months. There will be plenty of new maps for you then.

Thanks for the advice but I've been gaming a looooooong time, I have my preferred way to play lol. I'm currently alternating between this, Blood Omen and Time Splitters 2. Again, I'm still having a blast, wouldn't be playing if I wasn't, just ready for more now while it's hot and everyone is in the mix 👍

No worries - hope it wasn’t patronising! 😂

First time COD though? It doesn’t really suffer from big drop off, so don’t worry about folk leaving the mix in general (can’t speak for your buddies or squad mates though). As said, loads of maps will come, and you get informed via the seasonal roadmaps up front. They don’t tend to offer up anything not mentioned in the roadmaps though, there have been just one or two surprise extras over the years.

Happy gaming!

Noooooo, been playing since CoD3 which many people don't realize had great multiplayer too. Of course, it was really CoD4 that kicked things into overdrive, the rest is history as they say. First CoD since Cold War, after Black Ops 3 I decided I'd only get Treyarch entries, before that I bought it every year.

I would rank Cold War and Black Ops 2 as my favourite CODs, so huge thumbs up to Treyarch for them!

Just got to the emergence level. Loving it so far but this level has pretty much ruined the game for me. Haven’t played many of the black ops games so not sure if this is a normal type of level but it’s broken the immersion for me. Seems more of a, if you like this play the multiplayer modes and give us money.

Just give me a proper tactical campaign, not this crap. Hope this is the only mission like this.

Anybody else feels like performance has dived considerably when looking at smoke/flames through a scope - sometime in the last couple of patches?

I’m talking down to sub-30fps.

XSX.

COD 3 Xbox 360 multiplayer….man good times. That little French village map where it had a small choke point in tdm and people could glitch onto the top of a barn roof to snipe. Simpler times.

Was this Nathan by any chance?

I have Opal on everything. Now I can never play directed mode again
I dunno maybe it's time

I have a 42 inch LG C2 as a monitor. Was a no brainer decision.

Heard double xp and Stakeout 24/7 are back this week? That smacks a little of desperation. I give it until Christmas before Stakeout 24/7 is permanent.

I now have Opal on everything, now I can actually play zombies normally again.

I don't they've ever done a permanent playlist like that, not recently anyway.

Afterlife is easy mode so once I am done with that I too will start playing normal again and get a few of my favorite weapons nebula no way I am doing all weapons in it though
