I couldn't say that for the Wii U in 2014. It had a few great games, but not enough to fill a full year.
2015 can, though, assuming there's no delays.
So you're waiting for a price mistake? Nintendo games usually don't go that low except during clearance sales a couple years down the road.I'm gonna' pass on the game, unless I see it for $5 or so. I'm just not that into puzzle games.

Same here, though I'll probably get it at around $20.
Same here, but given the pricing structure of retail Nintendo games, neither of us will probably end up playing it. I liked the Captain Toad stuff in SM3DW, but only as a little diversion from the main game. I don't think I'd enjoy a game consisting entirely of that, especially at that price point.
There are actually four separate objectives in each level:completion, all gems, secret challenge, and time trials.![]()

This is my feeling
In response to the person above:
I don't know if it'll ever drop to $5. That's just a pipedream. However, it's a game I could live without and one I'm not willing to spend much on. I'd maybe bite for $10, but $20 is too much right now.
I would pass on it then, You will probably never see this game for $5, and it sounds like you have zero interest anyway
hold dat L Nocturnowl
It's just you. Most of the games have been given 4 or 5 stars.

The responses about the price is kinda funny. I think it's crazy to expect an EAD game to be at the price of an indie game or even lower at launch.
With Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, and Toad all having their own games now, when will Daisy and Bowser get their individual times to shine?

I see: 3,4,4,5, plus some second and third party games.
So what you are saying is that they've given out mostly 4 and 5 stars?

I keep seeing people say this, but what is planned for 2015?
A side Yoshi game, a small Kirby game, Xenoblade (maybe), Splatoon, and?
Just doesn't seem full enough to cover the year especially since they have no 3rd party so they have to carry thr console themselves.
Fatal Frame could make it. Moreso than a new Wave Race, that's for sure. At least we'll have a new MK DLC.Devil's Third, Star Fox Wii U, Zelda U, Mario Maker, Mario Party 10, Mario vs DK are the ones that come to mind. You could argue that Star Fox and Zelda won't come until 2016, of course.

That GiantBomb review kinda has me worried. I'm just imaging the levels blazing by and before I know it they're done. Is there any news about future DLC?
The only other game I want is Hyrule Warriors but that's still $55 on Amazon. I'm waiting for it to hit around low 40s like Tropical Freeze.

So Ash, how's that English localization of Eyes of Bayonetta 2 coming along? It'll be on store shelves later this week, right? Riiiiiiiiight? I'm being perfectly reasonable! My review is live!
Spoiler: I liked it!
I know it's Examiner and I'm aware of the reputation Examiner deservedly has here, but those who know me from the Smash 3DS/Wii U threads and other threads on NeoGAF know I'm legit. Plus I'm also with GameXplain and you guys love GameXplain, so really, don't let the Examiner link scare you off!
A happy game is something this market desperately needs to see a lot more of. A totally unpretentious, colorful, cheerful videogame with no overwhelming sense of peril, no miserable characters complaining about their vapid emotional turmoil, and none of this moral choice gibberish.
I'd much rather pay for this lovingly-designed, complete game with unlockable content than $60 to be a beta tester for a buggy, microtransaction-filled, low FPS, app-tethered, pre-order bonus/DLC-riddled third-party game from the companies you know I'm talking about.
