That has nothing to do with what the game is being criticized for.
Agreed. I clicked the article to make sure that this wasn’t the gameplay lead designer making these comments, because that’s the person who could kind of make that claim.

How much weight does back to the roots have when no one from those roots works there anymore.

And thats not only true for bioware its the whole industry, the people who made great games 15-20 years ago have retired by now.

How is it that he consensus on this game is that fans of previous Dragon Age games won't enjoy it, while people who never played a previous entry are more likely to enjoy the game? That's the antithesis of "return to its roots".

Yes, indeed. If you honestly think we can't read between the lines here you can piss right off.

Okay, EA and Bioware affirmed you in your transgender bullshit, the customers don't care though 🤷‍♂️

Be gay, be trans, be whatever you want, no one cares, it's when you push these things into a well established I.P's it becomes more than just your vanity project, you've fucked it. Well done, slapped backs all round. Another winner

The people who played the original Dragon Age, sadly (for you), didn't grow up with being indoctrinated with shitty Pro nouns, trans nightly, being gay every ten seconds and wearing queers for Palestine knickers, and that's where you fuck up every time

There's far more of them than you and your ilk that's been brainwashed and/or over medicated.

This is why it doesn't sell!

And fucking 'Eurogamer'? So basically the 'interview' was just all of them in a circle huffing each others farts and laughing

Get the fuck out :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Living in fucking clown world daily at this point.

Any BioWare employee should be considered the luckiest game studio on earth.

They’ve made ME andromeda, anthem, veilguard, and they just got moved over to make another ME sequel.

No matter how crap the games or sales are, or how long they take to make, somehow they still have a job.

It's Eurogamer, I wouldn't have expected anything else of them.
Exactly. It's just a wretched circle of bumchums all looking out for each other and 'activism'

You'll never get a descent game out of these douchebags. Not when there's 'Oh so much' owning the chuds, or whatever other fucking useless shit there is to fight that morning.

Bioware is never coming back, we just have to accept that. Sad but true. Thankfully there are some other companies like Owlcat and Larian that are out there doing good work.

RIP Bioware, you died long ago and are just a corpse.

Its crazy. Bioware's best games were pixelated sprite based CRPGs in the 90s and early 2000s, and then Xbox 360 era ME and DA games. Since then, it's been this.

- DA Inquisition 2014
- ME Andromeda 2017
- Shadow Realm (cancelled)
- Anthem 2019
- DA Veilguard 2024

Their last solid game (in terms of sales, reviews, backlash and no politics) was 10 years ago. It was so long ago, these games werent even out yet.
