I’m not saying this in a negative way but I can’t believe this series turned into 6 Seasons!!! It feels like everything should’ve been wrapped up in 4. 
Hopefully, some people get “Body Bagged” in the finale.

Solid solid final bunch of episodes. Watching the finale right now. Glad the brought back the "You're the best around" song for one final training montage.
This is it for the show then? Last ep I remember was the german tournament that ended badly. Was there a cluster of eps after that and before this? No matter, I'll spool them up this weekend.

Yes, that was the last batch, this picks up afterward and is the end of the show.
Not sure if they tie it into the upcoming movie, haven't finished it yet.
edit: Finished, I can confirm there is no explicit tie-in to the movie, no Jackie Chan cameo or anything.
But the show has a pretty definitive ending. Doesn't really leave much in terms of open-ended questions.

yea, could have ended a season shorter, but I give them credit for what they managed to achieve. Probably the best quality live action nostalgia reunion show out of every other attempts of 80-90's stuff that failed.

Just finished. Man, what a ride. Great show. Treated all characters with respect, heroes and villains, had great use of nostalgia, well written characters and it was made with so much love. It wasn't afraid to poke fun at modern politics without taking a side, had a great soundtrack, the young actors had great fight scenes (it was a bit harder for the adults, considering their age).
Best western tv show I've seen in the last 4-5 years, and it was amazing to see the entire show for the first time just two months ago - with the only thing lacking being the last 5 episodes.
As for the dream sequence, it's just another reminder of how different this series would've been if Mr. Miyagi's actor was still on this Earth. Cannot FATHOM how different this series would go.

I guess they felt that Kreese and Silver need to give each other closure - we already had a closure with Danny and Silver two seasons ago, while Kreese and Johnny had their own closure.

The show had ups and downs but I really liked the ending aside from a few nitpicks. ( Kreese taking a 180 as character felt too sudden, badly deepfaked Mr Miyagi was just awkward, and the NCIS level VR training was dumb ever for Cobra Kai standards)
I really liked how they kept it focused on the tournament and let the ending play out in a pretty straightforward way instead of trying to subvert expectations just for the sake of it (the final fight for the kids being Miguel fighting as a Cobra Kai just felt right). They did a good job tying up the storyline for the main characters and even managed to have some genuinely emotional moments, Zabka in particular really did a great job in these last few episodes.

Yeah, I also agree the nitpick you pointed it out felt a little cheap - as in, unearned, but I was willing to handwave it. I really liked the fact that
Miyagi Do ended up being more about inspiration and peace of mind rather than victory, which was what Cobra Kai - the school - is all about.
Johnny and Daniel in the end
becoming masters of offence and defense respectively and exchanging students based on who needs more work on what
putting ALL of his demons to rest

I’ve finished it and loved it overall, although there were some things I didn’t like.
VR was cheap and highlighted how much of a better fighter Miguel was over Robby. Especially since Miguel didn’t need any of that training to fight Axel.
Also I don’t like that Hawk was sidelined when he was clearly one of the best fighters, possibly even better than Miguel, let alone Robby.
Sam and Miguel were a terrible pairing. They acted more like brother and sister than boyfriend and girlfriend.

I thought they stuck the landing for the most part. I really enjoyed the last batch of episodes.
I'd really started to get tired of the "we squashed the beef! OH WAIT!" nonsense of the past few seasons, so it was good to see some definitive actions for once.
I like where it leaves things off, they can definitely do some spin off shows or Netflix movies if they so choose and they'd be fun, but they don't have to and I am OK with that too.
Crazy to think this whole thing started back on YouTube RED, I signed up for that just for this show (and somehow still get billed $9.99/month).

I thought last season ended well, and they should leave it alone. I thought for sure they’d screw it up.

Zabka is a great actor. I haven't seen anything other than the movies so I had no idea he was capable.
Terry is also amazing. Great energy.

This is the show/writers' fault. He had the hero's journey with his own great scenes for the first 3-4 seasons and then they didn't know what to do with him. It's like what happened with Tyrion Lannister in GoT (before the show started to decline) where he just became a support character for another main character who's story arc wasn't done yet.
It's why Miguel's final fight mostly had flashback highlights from those first 3-4 seasons.

I mean... they won't leave it alone completely given that the new Karate Kid movie comes out in 3 months.
although it is set 3 years after the show apparently, so it's not directly connected. but I wouldn't be surprised if some references will be made to what happened in Cobra Kai.
I also wonder if they will adress what happened to Jaden Smith's character as it is supposed to combine the original and reboot timelines

I think this is a problem with series who have WAY too many main characters. You could see Johnny as the MC. But you could also see Miguel. And then Daniel. And then Robby. And then Sam. And then Tory. When you have so many main characters, it's a bit tough finding balance. Hell, they had Hawk elevated to basically hero-protag levels in Season 4. It was a WILD ride.

To be fair I agree with all of your points and I'm more on your side when it comes to this, I just wanted to explain to that poster why Miguel could have come across to him as not that good of a character this season.
I think it is a daunting task and impressive task (even if a writer doesn't succeed) to attempt to not only juggle several character arcs with all of them having the potential to be main characters, but also doing it in a way that doesn't immediately kill off the previous character in order to heighten the new one's importance. It's one of the reasons why, even though some people might find Naruto to be a mediocre anime, I have to respect the fact that the creator attempted to juggle up to 30-50 characters at one point and try to give them enough screen time and importance to make each of them memorable enough to count towards the final arc and conclusion, regardless of the fumbles that were made (like literally everyone agreeing that secret final boss Kaguya was a mistake).

To clarify, I think the actor for Miguel was not that great. But yeah, character wise agree with what you're saying (and I still didn't like him).
