Honestly, I rarely get much use out of Skills...especially that one, it doesn't seem to be super-strong so I've just saved it to finish off bosses.
The game is new and the single player's really meaty. I haven't even tried it, so not surprised that online is small either way.
Yeah, the thing is, I've kinda come to prefer a slow-and-steady playstyle. Also, the main thing about her weapon isn't so much its damage, but the combination of its range and explosive power. It's like a combination of The Fox's rifle and John's Bear Grenade, both of which I also like.Califia's a really slow-and-steady character for me.
Her attack only seems to do about 40, and it doesn't seem to take in account weak-points. She's useful, but sometimes I want someone who can get in fast and do more damage, like Fox or John. I tend to make give her the Medi-Carbine and keep her in the back and serve as support, but she never really saved the day for me.

Yeah, she can kill your turn speed bonus if you rely on her as your sole damage.
She has the best battle quotes in the game though. A BEAST IN NEED OF KILLING. Shit's way more hardcore than everyone else lol.
The penguin is pretty useful for scouting, seeing as it basically counts as a temporary character. Launching it does more than just play an animation, you can actually look around from its perspective while it's in motion. Also it will trigger enemy Overwatch attacks, including those darn tentacles that burst out of the ground, so you can use it as a distraction and to "test the waters", so to speak. Also, since it will go until it hits something, you can use it to camp outside of the range of an enemy and just send penguins at it, and the enemy won't be able to shoot you back. Also, what is the strategy with QueeQueq? Does anyone use him on their main team? He seems terrible and his attack is kind of awkward.
What is the strategy in Boston mission 3, in the house? I can't even get into the basement without getting annihilated.

I've never got a game, but smash doesn't work either so I always assume it's just a problem on my end.How long does it take for you guys to connect with someone online? Damn.
So, has anyone figured out how to unlockyet?Stovepipe
Did you do "Restart Map" or "Return to the Liberty"? "Return to the Liberty" makes you redo the entire mission, but "Restart Map" will let you just redo that part of it (with a different team, if you want)made the mistake of quitting mid mission
what the fuck kind of design is that where i can't resume where i left off.
the shitty designs on certain things is really starting to add up for me. it's a fantastic game but it's baffling why I have to redo the entire mission because I brought the wrong team to the final part of the mission.
Do you mean mission or map? It saves and resumes after any map.made the mistake of quitting mid mission

Yeah, I feel like I really need to get that done... I actually didn't come across any in the 2 multiplayer matches I've played so far, but I hear they're really useful in the single-player campaign, too...Man, Sentries may be OP for multiplayer. That fucking range is insane. I feel bad fighting anyone who doesn't have it unlocked.

I don't get how attacks go through the bodies of enemies and don't hit. I don't mind having to play around certain enemies and their range/abilities but when it stops right on top of me and I still cannot hit it I get a little frustrated.
Definitely see what some of the reviews said about that too. Nothing pisses me off more than wasting steam trying to hit something and not being able to.
You don't mean those tiny flies that stun you by any chance?
How much health do they have?
=)
After a while I realized they kept going after Tom so I just kept using him as bait. Tiger slays them well enough with the shuriken
edit: oh my god reinforcements every turn and i have no idea where some of these frozen people are =/
So any good tips for where the people that need rescuing are in 4-2? After 15 turns the reinforcements become just too much to even fight through so I'm going to have to restart. I only found four of them so I'm guessing there are both in the corner somewhere.

Got to Chapter 5. The game has some questionable choices sure, but I'm having quite a lot of fun with it.
Bees are assholes though.
Playing 5-2 right now and I don't think I did it the way I'm supposed to.
I got super unlucky with those eye things cutting Tiger Lilly off from the rest of my group so I couldn't heal Henry Fleming and he died so I had to revive him.
Also is that tank supposed to be anything? I ended up just killing it since I could but I thought maybe I could get inside of it =/
Also I feel like the Lion with the Shuriken and the tank that recovers health every turn is about the most broken thing for the early game. Even moreso with Tom supporting or even open areas Queequeg softening up enemies with a penguin.
You maybe should avoid multiplayer at least until you have all the characters, if not until you unlock the Sentry gun.
You can get inside. It isn't even a bad idea to rush for it since its very strong.

]Vehicles: On certain maps you will come across vehicles such as tanks that you can enter with any character and use to wreak havoc. Reign death upon thine enemies or just keep that heavily wounded teammate safe.
