I was hoping not to get info on that before playing...

Cdpr high standard of quality finally delivered in Cyberpunk. Well deserved. Cdpr and Larian are the top rpg makers last 10 years.
I would have agreed with you about CDPR being the best RPG dev until Cyberpunk 2077 launched in the state it did. The Witcher 3 was my favorite game of the last console generation, so I expected more of the same quality and expanded RPG elements in this game when it released in late 2020. Instead, I had to wait over an year to play this game at an acceptable performance and visual quality on my XSX and it's only now nearly 3 years after launch that we finally get some standard features of most city open-world games like competent police AI. I can't praise them for finally delivering on a vision they promised us in 2020.

Ah good, I really enjoyed CP2077 so more of that is always welcome, I just upgraded my PC recently as well, with the new Update I may be tempted to start over as I completed this on Xbox Series X originally

I'm retarded?
You mean that 9 year developed cyberpunk 2077 game that was delayed multiple times and then launched in a complete shit state and took years of patching before this DLC launched....

Fucking lol, this guy.

It was a joke. Chillax. Tho Cyberpunk with all its issues at launch it was still a better game and ran better than Starfield. I'll take some annoying bugs over loadings every 5 minutes and low FPS. Also lol next gen console 30 FPS Starfield. Imagine the mess it would've been on PS4. K bye.

Cyberpunk was great even day 1 on PC despite some bugs. I get that the PS4/X1 versions were atrocious but Jesus Christ. It’s been 3 years. You guys can stop coming into every Cyberpunk thread just to copy/paste the same rant.

Can't agree more.

People really forget how mess was Cyberpunk 2077 at launch and how many promise are not here.

3 years later, they reboot the game and people claim "yeah hurrah"...

If you're going to compare the two games, at least compare them in the condition they both released at. Saying a Cyberpunk 2077 with nearly 3 years' worth of content updates, major bug fixes, and now an expansion is a better experience than a more recent RPG that has been on the market for less than a month is just a disingenuous conversation.

It wasn't just the last gen versions that launched in a trash state, also the current-gen console versions.

Yeah....but...nah..

Structurally, you can compare the two games. How quests are delivered, how one navigates the world...etc. They are both First Person RPGs with very similar mechanics. One can look past bugs and content to look and the basic design philosophy.

Its crazy how much i hated this game at first (it was buggy) but forced myself to play it to see some amazing graphics (the reason i bought the game). But after playing it more and more i quite liked it. And the PT update was the cherry on top for me. Can't wait to play this one with all the new upgrades and changes.

Starfield on next-gen consoles is 30 FPS. Cyberpunk on next gen consoles was 60 FPS at launch. What would be the framerate of Starfield if it would've released on PS4 like Cyberpunk, so I can compare? 5 fps? Fucking lol

have a lot to play on my hands right now, maybe in the future i'll get it, but i hope this time the game is more of an rpg and less a gta wannabe

tell me, are you interested in Phantom Liberty?
I am. I've been looking forward to it since I finished my first playthrough of the game years ago. However, I was bummed out once I learned 2 of the 3 planned expansion had been cancelled. Seeing people praise the dev team and the game as the second coming of Jesus for releasing a quality expansion without mentioning that most people have been waiting for these 2.0 features for nearly 3 years is what is grinding my gears a little.

Cyberpunk 2077 base game sits at a 76 on OpenCritic though?

CDPR manipulated reviewers,, showing only the PC version and allowing reviewers to only show footage they provided before release. It was only after the release and the amazing, glowing reviews that the game got what it deserved. But the PC version was extremely buggy and here we are, 3 years later, finally maybe getting something like the game we were told we would get, after 2 gameplay overhauls. I'll be getting Phantom Liberty and looking forward to finally playing this but the entire thing was embarrassing for all involved. ShillUp is forever tainted imo, but he's not the only one.

I also really hate this narrative of "come back" or "redemption" when devs ship unfinished, buggy, crappy piles of shit and then patch it later.

Already preordered although with Baldurs Gate 3....lol god knows when I will be able to play this. Also (and this happens to me with all DLCs), after 3 years I completely forgot how to play the game properly, probably it would be better to play it again from scratch with all the improvements since launch.

I'm happy it seems to be great :pie_starstruck:

Ah yes because cyberpunk was tottaly a 91 at launch...
On PC it was.
The game was nearly unplayable on consoles for 6+ months and received 90+ Metactric score. It was so bad there wasn't even a native PS5 or Xbox Series S/X version of the game made available for over an year after launch. Current-gen console owners were literally stuck playing Xbox One/PS4 upscaled versions at sub 30fps. Would have probably been in the low 70s had it been an Xbox exclusive.
Missed "PC" at the image?

I don’t get you man, do you want to remind everybody how bad the game was at launch and no one should play this expansion or you want more expansions?? You make no sense I feel like you didn’t sleep well or something
