Honestly, I would have much preferred it if Nyssa had led the team right in the beginning. Her relationship with Snart and Rory would have been amazing, and then having her constantly disabuse Palmer of his idealism and naivety would have been very entertaining.

Sara does 3 things and she does them well. She punches things, she stabs things, and she knows how to get it in. We should all aspire to 3 things as well as Sara does.
Well the cynical answer is that she's busy with something else.

If the show ended at the last season finale, you could realistically say that the Legends are worse villains than Barry Allen. He only messed up the timeline twice in fairly minor ways. They royally screwed up reality multiple times.
One more complaint... Kid Flash comes in to help out (cool), immediatley takes his fucking mask off while Not-Colossus says his name out loud while the goons are behind them!!!! WTF writers??? Like, I get WHY they have Wally take his mask off and Nate say his name, so the casual audience can see it's the actor, but dude, c'mon. Have the bad guys all be knocked out then and not just laying there kinda woozy.
I dunno, easily fixable plot holes and lazy writing just really irk me on shows like these. They already have an uphill battle due to lower budgets and spotty VFX, don't give the fans anymore fodder to hurl at them.

Firestorm stay merged permanently. That way you could have Garber still involved as a voice over (which would be easy to do if Garber is cross country) and then you could have Garber cameo occasionally
I mean, they're clearly setting that up.
Stein wants to be with his family.

He was one of my favorite characters on the show. It was already a massive loss losing Arthur Darvill for the majority of the show but losing Victor Garber just makes things even worse. This is a real bummer as Legends of Tomorrow is great because of it's cast.
Legends worked around Arthur Darvill and Wentworth Millers schedules. Even if hes not a series regular Im sure hell have a presence.
Hes the least important physical presence on the team to boot.

Technically, the Legends didn't break time. That was done by alternate future versions of them who are all either dead or erased from the timeline, so the Time Bureau doesn't really have a case against them.
He was two weeks away from retirement!!!
Yes! She is a completely different character than what she was in Arrow. She is such a well rounded character now. She'd be completely out of place in Arrow. Can you imagine her trying to crack jokes and overtly hit on anything with a skirt?

They chose very wisely. The TV used up almost every spartacus actor that can act but wisely skipped the one trap. He looked like he could act back then.
