Honestly i'd reel in your fanboyism a bit if i were you, it wont go well in the long run on here, trust me.
The thread about marketing overload went silent. It’s the funniest shit.Where are all the dickheads shitting on this game?
You know who you were complaining everytime Sony showed it off on one of their State of Plays. Looks like crow gonna be served. Especially the retards who looked down on this game just because MS bought the developer. Thank you Arkane
Theyre porting old game to PC, these arent day and date releases like xbox is doing. If sony can ge a few hundred million off each new game then thats a good thing. If you want sony to acquire new studios and make expensive third party deals then this is what they have to do.Nahhh, not when PS are porting to PC.
Not getting my money if you do that shit.
Fuck you Jim Ryan. Get your 5 dollar Steam sale and I'm gonna keep my 70 euro.
Get out of here with this quantity over quality crap. That’s so 2020.Kinda crazy hearing 12 to 15 hrs for 70 squid. Ffs
wow, the first real bad review. Ars Technica massacred it:
Deathloop game review: Can Bethesda rewind this time loop and try again?
Dishonored + Majora’s Mask seems intriguing, but the execution is all botched.arstechnica.com
The good:
- Glimmers of compelling plot and character interactions.
- Some levels contain Arkane-caliber opportunities to hunt for sneaky paths and play the way you want.
The bad:
- The Majora's Mask-like take on time loops doesn't make up for how small, claustrophobic, and redundant the game feels.
- Stupid AI, humdrum enemies, and powerful abilities make it too easy to turn off your brain and plow through most of the game's potentially tricky moments.
- Visuals, level designs make it hard to understand why the game is locked to current-gen consoles.
- Bad netcode, uninteresting strategic options make the "invasion" mode a skippable snoozer.
The ugly:
Verdict: Bethesda's biggest disappointment in years. Wait for a sale (or a "definitive" edition).
- A pair of voiceover narrators are too intent on hating each other to clue-in players to what the heck is going on.
You can get the Arkane Collection for about 20 bucks. Recently picked up a copy myself. Just in case you didn't know.Good for this game! Looking forward to the Arkane library on Gamepass to experience these mastworks I missed.
Lyon made Dishonored 2 and Austin made Prey.Is Lyon better than Austin or vice versa? I don’t know enough about the respective teams.
We need an OT.

Some of the Sony contracts said their third party timed exclusives can’t come to other subscription services didn’t they? Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Xbox and PC Game Pass at the same time next year.Strange it doesnt seem to be listed on PC Gamepass. I wonder if Microsoft are not classing this as a first party game?.
I have little interest in playing but i would of checked it out on Gamepass.
I can't tell if you're honestly annoyed or just a parody account?
Ah right that makes sense. Some of the Sony contracts said their third party timed exclusives can’t come to other subscription services didn’t they? Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Xbox and PC Game Pass at the same time next year.
You know, it kinda sucks that reviews are just going to be near impossible to fully trust these days in our current politicized climate. Even suggesting that this is the case is scummy, because there's no direct proof - and it undermines people's ability to think whatever they want. But we know Arkane was one of the first to work with Anita Sarkessian and the main cast of the game is definitely considered "progressive" - which is terrible, because it should be completely non-political to include whatever characters you want. But in the context of their past work with popular political figures in gaming, and the kind of reactions to characters that you see like in Project Eve being overwhelmingly negative among the journalist class - there's just no way to know if the scores get a bit inflated or deflated due to political reasons. Bayonetta 2 got knocked several points for its character at Polygon, while stuff like Gone Home gets a 10. The whole well is just poisoned because even suggesting this implies that I'm the one trying to bias everyone else, even though there's lots of evidence of this happening in the past - currently there is literally zero proof this is the case.
Really all you can do is look at the specific people reviewing and trust who you want.
And not ONCE did they make it clear that it was a Roguelike.
I think thats why independant reviewers like ACG, GManLives, etc, are growing fast in popularity, as they are just gamers like us giving their true feelings about games.yeah this is what doesn’t sit well with me. Political pandering has soiled the water of game reviews and it’s very difficult to parse through that bullshit and just figure out what’s a good game or not
even titles that aren’t political at all, such as days gone, get docked significantly because of the mere perception that they lean a certain way.
really sad to see

I only really use mainstream reviwers as a benchmark to give an idea about a game
close but yetJesus christ. Two black lead characters ...despite the stellar reviews I will not stand for this faux wokeness!!!!
"All those 10/10s are decent scores, I GUESS.... But, I decided I hated this game before I ever saw a review or played it myself, and I'm not backing down now. Fix your shit Arkane!"The reviews looks promising I guess. With that said, I slammed the title after looking at the gameplay video, and I'm not backing down on that: They need to fix the idiotic AI before I consider buying this game. Also it looks outdated as fuck, but I guess it's not a big issue per se.
I found it interesting a game like Deathloop gets 66 reviews on Metacritic alone as soon as it's up, but games like MS Flight Simulator, The Ascent only got 33 reviews...
MS Flight Simulator is probably beyond the scope of what game journalists can review. I mean literally they probably can't play it.I found it interesting a game like Deathloop gets 66 reviews on Metacritic alone as soon as it's up, but games like MS Flight Simulator, The Ascent only got 33 reviews...
Was that your review?10/10, what the fuck dude
Awesome
I can't play it either on pc...for some reason it causes my GPU to go over 80c no matter what settings i use. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times now and I've just given up. I played the gamepass version too that didn't have the RTX or DLSS at the time. Tried it again after the latest patches and it was a stuttery mess. I got a 3080 and a 5800x 32gigs of DDR4-4000 Ram downclocked to 3600 btw. No way I don't have the proper hardware to run it.MS Flight Simulator is probably beyond the scope of what game journalists can review. I mean literally they probably can't play it.
The Ascent is a small indie studio's first game. That said, the Ascent is one of the most robbed games I've ever seen in existence in terms of review scores. But that is a topic for another thread.
Deathloop is a heavily marketed console exclusive that was prominently shown at every event for years. It's not that surprising.

"Everyone is a winner here" "Xbox users get to play through Gamepass in one year"
Your exact words. Lmfao
but most my games run at like mid 60's. It was alarming to me. I think I'm extra cautious after New World started blowing up 3090s.80c isnt that hot for a gpu mate.
Noi thats fine and i get that, i'm just saying its not that hot for a gpu. My lowly 980ti with its heavy overclock only hovers around the 70-72 mark flat out. I just mean its different with gpu's than cpu's, and gpu's can run a lot hotter safely.but most my games run at like mid 60's. It was alarming to me. Ever since the reveal last year I been in on it, liked Returnals initial showing too and I see so many of the names who were hating on that one, and this game either switching up or radio silentShows you have good taste like myself.
I said early this had a good chance to be a revolutionary experience based on what I read up on it.
Or I own all systems and this is the literally the truth. I have played and enjoyed everything first party on my PS5 and still play Horizon in February. There is a performance advantage on PC compared to PS5 because it's a expensive gaming PC. Jesus are you that insecure?Excellent humble troll
Why? The games that usually require an online connection are games built around multiplayer. The game has a multiplayer component to it that's advertised as part of the game so that why people are double checking. For most other games people won't even ask the question. It's so sad that this even needs to be clarified nowadays lol.
I was talking about The Ascent. I play Flight Sim on XSX because framerate isn't as important and I wanna see it on a bigger screen.Noi thats fine and i get that, i'm just saying its not that hot for a gpu. Plus Flight Sim is just that demanding. I'm guessing you played with vsync off and an unlocked framerate?. Nothing wrong with locking FS to 60fps, even with a high end PC.
Oh The Ascent had heat problems?. Thats interesting, I played through the game fine but had it vsynced at 60fps.I was talking about The Ascent. I play Flight Sim on XSX because framerate isn't as important and I wanna see it on a bigger screen.
But for The Ascent I was waiting on them to do another patch. I looked it up and it seems its not just me having these issues. It seems as though they have worked on it now.
The Ascent gets another performance patch to address stuttering and bugs
It applies to both the Steam and Windows Store versions.www.pcgamer.com
That video says it runs like shit even on his high end PC compared to PS5. So there you go
