I'm happy to have atleast been able to run Crota's sword for him a few times, just so he could chill and fire some G-horns :)

Rest in Peace Dr (Carry me!) Drizz. Gone but forever living on by the brightness of his light.

Again, my heart and prayers go out to his family <3<3<3

I only made a brief statement in the first post because I knew it was going to be so packed. To be fair, I don't have a wall o text story to tell about Drizzay because he spent so much time with me, but he spent so much time with everyone. I remember jumping into Unstable's party to yell at them about fighting with each other (well mostly to yell at Unstable for fighting with him), and I remember begging him to sign on so I could relinquish the sword to him on hard Crota so I could get some damn sleep, and I remember lining up all of the Skolas runs for all the BetrayThis members through him, and I remember all the trials runs he blessed me with; many successful and many where I just dragged his k/d down. Was all that a run on sentence? Yes it was, because that was the nature of our relationship. He gave me so much more than I could ever give back and now the scales will be forever tipped in his favor. RIP man, we all loved you.

Outstanding OT, well done Hawkian and Lnkn, and all the others that contributed to the OT.

Things won't be the same around here without Drizzay, he'll be missed greatly.

He was clearly an amazing person, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends, including everyone here that knew him.

A great and fitting OT that stands as a testament to his memory.

This thread feels like a huge exhale after holding my breath all week... I was first reading each story as it came it, but that got to be too emotional, so I held off, read a few last night, and then read 30+ for the first time this morning and have basically been crying the whole time since. Just now feeling like I am starting to catch my breath again.

I wonder. I don't actually know if Drizz was a Douglas Adams fan or not. I know that he, as I am, was a Dr. Dre fan, which is just as good in my book.

I added some incredible screenshots igordennis had to the end of his story.

Also, this didn't really belong as part of the tribute, but rewatching it had me laughing through tears, laughing just like I did the day it happened:

Now it's up to us to do the same. If you're here, you're one of us. Answer a call to help with a Nightfall or a story mission. Take an extra moment to hand out some info or a compliment. Jump into a raid when you know you can give the fireteam a shot at coming out victorious. And don't ever be afraid to ask for help, even if you're new. Take every chance you encounter to make any given moment just a little bit better for someone else in this community. You don't have to be a raid master, or a Trials hero, but you can help and be helped.

We cannot replace Dr. Drizzay, but we can carry on his legacy.

All of us are in pain, in mourning. The sadness may only fade with time. But embracing the not-knowing—and the good that comes from this community—that's how the good Doctor will live on in all of us. That's how we make sure his Legend never dies.

Fantastic job on the OT to all contributors. This is the best OT I've ever seen and an awesome tribute to the late, great Doc. We'll miss you Drizzay and we'll never forget your selfless contributions to this community.

Sucks because I took a lot of screen shots with drizz and lnkn hudless and I wish some were not hudless.

I found the same pic of Drizzay standing their after taking down Crota with the Flawless Raider trophy popping up. He's immortalized in my trophy list forever. Thank you automatic PSN screenshot feature.

That was my one and only time playing with Drizzay and it left a lasting impression. He was just so nice and patient. It only took us 34 minutes and that was with me asking a million questions, but he was a gentleman through out.

He helped us with our Flawless Trophy as well. I was tagged to do the thrall section solo and failed the first two times. We nailed the whole thing on our next try and Drizz was nice enough to post on here that we had done it on out first "real try." (;

Just as I did before, I made a list that we would help people get their Year 2 Hic Jakets followed by Cat Emblems.

This weekend and next weekend are the last 2 weeks.

I will prioritize by those who need Year 2 Emblems, and those that want to go for the views/loots/etc. If there are virgins, we could try them as well.

1) Cat Emblem
- Deku
- Ruffles

2) Virgins

3) Loots


I will be available Sunday and Monday this weekend, and pretty much all weekend long the final weekend the Cat emblem is available.

I'll try to grab Igor, Ape, Wicked and Biggy to help out starting Sunday.

If I'm correct, I think I was part of that fireteam. Was so fun and easy with Drizz. I got Guardian Lord that time...
