I use a scout, high impact sniper, and Raze Lighter.

Scout for Shanks, Raze Lighter for Captains and final normal DPS phase, and sniper for DPS phase.

I haven't done any extensive testing with the different scopes yet

Barrel mods (though Agg Balls has greater penalties after a patch in the last year IIRC). They affect the recoil direction in addition to range/stability/impact/aim assist.

I was using a Last Extremity and quest 1kYS because I haven't gotten a better sniper to drop. But I got the raid scout and I think I might like it better because of the perk.

What kind of RNG is going on in this game? My exotic drops consist mainly of getting 5 chest pieces in a row followed by 4-5 helmets in a row.

All I want is a Hawkmoon but I haven't seen a primary exotic in forever.

Hung Jury and Wounded are second to top damage tier (48 impact). Keystone would be another high impact scout (61 impact).

Exact same. My heart sank a little to see another scout pop. At least there are enough SIVA shards to go around with one pass through the raid, but still.

I've not find it grindy at all.
