Performance mode, it's almost always Performance Mode.
Graphics Mode: Set to Prioritize Framerate.
120Hz Output: Enable this feature.
Frame Rate Limit: Disable to unlock the frame rate.
Navigate to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets and select Performance Mode; then go to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output and enable "120Hz Output" while ensuring "Frame Rate Limit" is disabled within the game settings if applicable.
Edit: Chances are you'll hang around a consistent 60fps.

Well fuck my ass, a dude on reeee is saying that if you install the texture pack, have 16gb of vram but you use the high texture setting, the texture pack being installed still somehow improve the textures without the choppiness....maybe that's why i barely noticed any difference in visuals with the texture pack installed but not selected...
Wtf capcom?
Set your textures to high. The pack is still utilized. At highest it can stutter if your PC can't brute force it (mine can't - probably lacks the added streaming bandwidth needed). The visual difference appears negligible, but it is not something I've investigated thoroughly.
With 16 GB VRAM and the pack installed, the high setting works well and looks great.

Yeah that was confirmed a while ago. What does the difference look like though? Is it just brute forcing textures that don't seem to load (or are seemingly bugged by the compression) or is there an actual difference in quality? the textures on some parts of the armours are clearly lower res but other than that, i see no difference at all.

Pretty much Capcom quality TM.
I bought RE4 gold yesterday on steam and I know It had some minor problems at launch but it still looks amazing and runs great.... Same fucking publisher and engine.
I completed it on series x so difference is quite big, 120fps and 4k interlaced

eff me this game is ugly as hell on the Pro, and unfortunately, you have two terrible options to consider--perf mode with the muddiest textures / resolution I've seen on the pro, and balanced which is choppy as all hell and has some muddy textures as well. Now that I'm thinking about it, what the hell is going on with HDR? Devs still can't figure out how to properly implement this tech? Btw, LG C1 77' w/VRR.
