Canadian pot GAF kicking around?
I see a huuuuuge difference between the dispensaries in BC versus Alberta... in BC you can pick up all kinds of edibles, oils, drinks... the sky is the limit. Pay in cash, no receipts where I shop there... in Alberta?? No class... cold, sterile environment, a clinic. Boring.
So living in Alberta, if I want the goodies I order online but buy pot local. They claim we're progressing here though. Anyone else find differences between provinces?

I lived in Amsterdam for 6 years so .... yes I do.
However never in Norway because weed being illegal, you will get shit you really don't wanna smoke so never in my own country.
In Amsterdam it is safe and legal and you will not get any nasty surprises and I have no issues with it I have seen way more insanity happen with Alcohol than with pot.

I used to smoke weed back in 04-07. But then I had to start taking anti-depressants and shit and smoking with it just made me feel terrible. I wish I could go back to smoking. I miss it so much. I loved smoking. It made everything better. Even though I don’t smoke it anymore, I want to see it legalized everywhere. It has so many benefits and I’d like to get off of the drugs I’m on and just smoke weed as I feel that would be much better for my mental health. I’m looking into CBD edibles right now because I suffer from bad anxiety and OCD, so I am hoping that will be beneficial.

So G Pen just entered the oil vape scene... bought a few of each different strains, currently trying the Sativa (spooky Dream),the others are Bubba's Ghost (Indica) and Race Fuel OG (Hybrid). It uses a proprietary cartridge, similar to the PAX ERA, but the battery isn't as interesting (no app, no adjusting the temperature at all).

I would smoke weed more if it wasn't for the smell. I get worried (no idea why?) that people can smell it, which ruins the buzz. A few years ago IDGAF but now i do.

Where are you from?
I do, but I haven't smoked in a long time. Since I like to smoke alone only, it gets a little tiring to do all the prep work: rolling, crushing, keeping the smell from my neighbors. I'm now considering drinking marijuana tea. Anybody got any ideas about how I can go about this?

I'm a guy over 30 who is trying to find weed again for the first time in years. It's not easy. I looked into going the legal route here in Ohio and from what I'm seeing so far it's a complete ripoff.
The doctor visit is $280 if the doctor gives you their recommendation and it's $60 if they tell you to fuck off. Then you have to pay Ohio something like $200 per year for your registration. You also relinquish the right to purchase firearms, which is strange as hell.
The dispensary near me has horrible reviews. It takes people hours to get inside only to find out that there's no selection and it's $40-50 per 2.83 grams. So this medical card, meant for people dying of cancer, requires up to $500 before you can awkwardly stand in line for 3 hours and then buy overpriced "medicine."
There's no fucking way I'm dealing with that. I'm just stuck still texting around asking for some shady dealer to buy from.

Our governor is one of those "I smoked weed when I was younger, but I'm not making it legal" types, which really sucks. I thought Holcomb would be better than Pence, but he really hasn't done much than get rid of the old "no beer sales on Sunday" law that was on the books for years.

Hoping for legalization in NY in the next year or two? Until then, my hands are tied, so to speak. Even if it's just once in a while on my own time... I can't be bothered or risk the illegal route at this point.

Man the weed shops are kinda rip offs up north. Not sure about the rest of the provinces but the prices don't scale. So if you pay 35 for a 3.5, then its 70 for 7, 105 for 10.5 G and on and on. If you buy an OZ we are talking 280. I can get premium grail bud for 200 an OZ and the stuff they sell at the shops for 160-180.

Ohio is just not there yet. I'd love to do this legally, but I'm not wasting my time and money like that.

So I'm gonna be honest for a moment.
One thing I never understood was mental health issues like depression or anxiety.
I say this because I "helped" someone yestetday while I was out by the lake. They had (what I now know) a panic attack, but they weren't sure if they were having symptoms of a heart attack. I'm no medic, but I tried to help them and ended up calling the ambulance when they finally agreed. They didn't want to go because they didn't want the medical bill from the ER, which I understand, but if you can't fucking walk and don't want me to leave because you feel something might happen to you and you dont know what, there's only one person to call. Anyway so I called, and the crew didn't see anything wrong with his heart but he couldn't walk so they took him to the hospital. I got his number and told him to keep me updated. Hours later it was a panic attack, and they helped him get relief with valium. He apologized for troubling me and said that he was thinking about stuff and couldn't deescalate it. When he felt something was wrong with his heart, it just kept getting worse, and he got worried about what it might be. My mom had insane panic attacks too, but I just don't get why people have them, or depression. *Shrug*

One thing about my job that I hate is that I don't know if I'm working 9 or 10 hours. They have us doing "daily mandatory overtime" of 1 hour over, which often turns to 2.
Of course tonight was a 2 hour over night, but I finally got to come home and take a hit of my new stuff. I coughed my ass off. I had actually forgotten what the actual act of inhaling smoke felt like.

Here in Africa, it costs about $3 for a box of matches full of industrial strength weed. Never smoked much though, but support stoners who want to. I hope they don't legalize it, poor black folks actually make a living from selling it illicitly, I know it sounds weird weird, but yeah, I'd rather know money goes to them who need it for basics like food, than some douche in the city.

Weed has been a far better painkiller than morphine for my post operation pain (gall bladder removal with major complications). It gets rid of the pain better, doesn't make me sick (make me hungry), relaxes spasming muscles and stomach, and helps me sleep. Morphine pills are like car battery acid in my stomach, just immediately goes into knots. And when I was in the hospital with a morphine drip, it just made me to so goddamn sick all the time. Why the fuck are hospitals still using opiates for pain? Why hasn't THC and CBD in marijuana been refined enough to be used in a IV drip? Man the continued use of opiates just really piss me off. Fucking poison.
edit: oh and if i'm in hard pain, I can smoke myself stupid and not worry about overdose. Morphine? Take too much of that and you are dead.

Never tried vaping but I did make pot brownies once and got obliterated, willing to try edibles but prefer to smoke from my experience.
Funny thing I live in MA where it’s legal but still buy it from my local guy.
