I typically like this guy too, but I was bummed he didn't go into any detail really on the actual writing and dialogue. I appreciate that Skillup gave pointed examples on why it was so bad, which matches all these absolutely cringe ass scenes were starting to see now.

Morts seemed way more 10,000 foot view. I dont think he got paid to shill or anything, but I was let down by his review overall he couldnt specifically counter any of the negativity. Surprised someone who is such a massive RPG guy completely passed over commenting on the state of the writing.

Indeed, he didnt have to say much, but he defo should mention at least with sentence or two even if its bit cloaked, aka "game is made for modern progressive audience" if he didnt want to tackle that woke shit directly.

Even this one, from polish site cd-action which only gave 6/10 score(and when u read actual review it all feels like 2/10 game, it has so many flaws described, 95% of sentences in the review literally describe flaws of the game, no jokes.
Yet not even one word or sentence, even camouflaged one, that warns players of how woke-infested that game is

It's also about sending a message to EA and other companies trying to do the same shit. Bad sales can be explained by all kinds of logical leaps: art style wasn't suitable for a WRPG, the game play was too different from previous Dragon Age entries, etc etc. But when the game gets laughed at and ridiculed by the core audience for these games, they'll know that "Go woke go broke" is real.

Plus..the game's shit mate. If the combat was top tier and the story/characters, gameplay good, I'd probably get it at some point even if I'd have to suffer through Taash's backstory.
