I mean, Piccolo somehow has the ability to zap clothes onto anyone. Plus, Toriyama stopped drawing Saiyan tails and left Launch outta the story cause he forgot. He also forgot about SS2. Also Roshi blew up the moon.

Ssj4 was just a natural evolution of saiyan biology, using their tails to fuel a new form. Magic has nothing to do with it.
The only reason why goku grew up was because the directors realized making goku a kid in gt was a dumb mistake. As for the pants? Well gt was made in the 90’s, soooo…

On an unrelated note, people are theorizing that the new version of ssj4 will be the path of the demons (since it was that old demon Namekian that gave him the power to transform)

This would make it as a parallel form to the god forms from super. Which is kind if a neat way to re-canonize the form

It took a bit of a dip, and a few episodes did feel pointless but once the final fight started this has just been crazy fan service.

I'm probably in the minority, but I love the og series and its raunchy, crude humor. Watching it now, it feels like an Adult Swim show. Some of the shit Roshi does is shocking. Plus it's just a charming as hell show.

In comparison, I have no interest in going back to Z. It's dry as fuck. Super and Daima are better since they lean more into the comedy, but they still feel sanitized in comparison.

Have you seen the Kai version?
It is far more condensed, almost halving the overall episode count.

Eg.
Saiyan Saga is cut down from 39 episodes to 18 episodes, removing all the slow parts.

Some nothing episodes but the action is top notch.

I personally think what we’ve seen so far is better than 95% of the super anime (minus the movies. Super Broly is still, by far, my favorite bit of the anime)

But i know thats not exactly the highest bar

Oh yeah, I've seen Z and Kai, and even Abridged. It's not really the pacing, I'm just not as interested in the power-scaling/fighting aspect like when I was younger.

That's why I prefer the og series now; it's just a gag anime with silly fights and raunchy humor.

Goku vs Junior is still in my top 5
