Dunkirk would have been even better, though, if any of the characters seemed as fully realized as the aerial and naval warfare. Without that, it works best as pure sensory experience; incredible visuals, intense battles.

IGN gives it a 9.5, only complaint is the non linear narrative making it sometimes confusing, though he says that pays off in the end.

Mario Galaxy would have to be the best reviewed popcorn flick. The Avengers, maybe? Mad Max, Fury Road?
