Hey what was that show that was announced earlier this year? Looked like it took place in a desert but had an 80s anime style to it yet looked fresh. Had some really famous names attached to the project too, can't really remember

Seems like a good time to get back into anime. Although I still need to finish the following - MGX, Space Brothers, Ghost NTR Hyouka, E7 AO, Fujishit etc. Probably won't bother with those last two shows tho.
Hyped for psycho-pass, magi and from the new world. Looking forward to chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai! will check out other stuff in this season, if it gets good impressions.

Y'know, because I respect your opinions so much, I'm going to buck the prevailing logic and watch at least the first episode of Teekyu. Granted, I am the scrubbiest person alive when it comes to matters involving recognition of staff and familiarity with source material, but I try to compensate by watching things when particular names are invoked as a reason to experience something and, in doing so, hopefully pull myself another inch out of the pit of ignorance.

Six episodes was too few for what it wanted to do, barely no character development, compelling world and backstory barely explored, so much lost potential...might as well check it out.

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou kinda sounds like a porn in the making.
Its some kinda fanservice anime about a girl whos kinda not there and the boy who becomes her master. Or something. Mari Okada, the woman who saved noitaminA with her efforts on Ano Hana, is working on this. Shes notable for being pretty fucking terrible at her job, so Im confident that this will be a good show.
Dis gonna be good. Okada writing a comedy? How can it possibly go wrong?!
And this is why I continue to watch Polar Bear Cafe despite Panda being one of the most infuriating characters of the year.
Also watching the recent breakdown of a certain member I can imagine them singing this ditty.
