Im interested in Indy and Midnight. Normally I would buy, but SBI is involved, so thanks to GamePass I’ll try before I buy. If the games are good and there’s no drowning of bullshit, I’ll buy them. I don’t care for your hypothetical question, especially coming from someone with a proven track record of defending SBI games so long as Sony makes them 👍
So no different than any other game then. :D

The Office Smirk GIF

That’s literally the game I was quoted saying I won’t be buying but will play on GamePass because SBI is involved.

Another swing and a miss.
By the way, not buying the game and playing it on GamePass instead, isn’t supporting SBI 👍

Placing bets that you have to play as another character at some point in the game, girl boss etc.
I mean, you see him getting saved and talked down to by the female co-protagonist in the trailer, whom the devs said in an interview that her story is the one with the stakes, while Indy is there simply because.

If the game sells well and becomes a trilogy, I guarantee you that by the end of the second game the woman will replace him.

About the trailer.

The dialog and delivering are not feeling too good ... the nostalgia elements appear to be all there ... first person gameplay looks like dogshit but this is my personal bias towards first person unfortunately.

I hope the game and story is good.. anything good for Indy is great for fans ... since disney cant stop fucking with their legacy IPs in other medias.

synopsis:
In *Indiana Jones and the Great Circle*, set in 1937 between *Raiders of the Lost Ark* and *Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade*, Indy must stop various groups from exploiting the power of the Great Circle—an ancient map that connects mysterious, sacred sites around the world. As he journeys across locations like Rome, Thailand, Egypt, Shanghai, and the Himalayas, Indy’s traditional approach to archaeology is challenged by a diverse cast of characters. A strong feminist archaeologist continuously outwits Indy, advocating for women’s equal role in exploration, while an Indigenous ally pushes back against his colonial attitudes, emphasizing the need to respect local cultures and histories. Meanwhile, a morally complex villain with a cause—perhaps a nationalist or preservationist—fights to stop Indy’s treasure-hunting, believing the artifacts should remain untouched. A younger, idealistic academic critiques Indy’s exploitative methods, pushing for more ethical, sustainable archaeology. Throughout the adventure, there are subtle LGBTQ+ relationships, a nod to the growing awareness of gender and sexual identity in the 1930s, with moments that modern players will recognize but that fit the historical context. This blend of progressive ideas—feminism, racial awareness, LGBTQ+ representation, and environmental activism—would highlight modern values while reflecting the social tensions and ethical dilemmas of the time.

Can they pull this off for the "Modern Audiences" 🤔......

Really? What don't you like about this one?

I think this is one of their better showings (probably because of the fast-cutting, as otherwise the uncut footage of this game looks a little boring). Made me a little bit interested in this game.
I dunno it just didn't do it for me and i've been fairly warm on the game so far. Was expecting to be a little more excited than that.

I'd like this to be good as I loved Indy as a kid.

I own most of MS games that I want to play. But I do want to try and play this one.

ill either get gamepass for PC for 1 month and finish it. or wait for another game and get gamepass for 1 month and finish them both in that month.

but this looks promising. not like that shit avowed or whatever crap its called.

The constant switching between 1st-person and 3rd-person, however, is a mistake. I hate that.

You know that happens with exponentially greater frequency in a short trailer compared to the actual game, right?

The moment when the Indiana tune starts is always...

🥲🥹

Remember folks, that one with Shitout leBeef and the last one passing the torch to an insufferable DEI bitch don't exist.

There's only one Indiana and his name is Junior. 💪🏻🥹😎

Eh, Waller-Bridge is pretty talented, have you seen her Flea Bag series? It's excellent. Her character's script in DoD was just shit, and so the actor is instantly forgettable in the film. As if she was ever supposed to "carry the torch". That's just another lazy incel conspiracy.

There's only one Indiana Jones: Sean Patrick Flanery.

Tbh even Indy's CGI animations look sub-par compared to Concords character select animations.
Graphically Concord was solid, btw, as was it's performance.
It really only was the character designs and the barebones content.

It's just ironic seeing certain people being hyped for a SweetBaby/DEI mediocre-looking game after making a complete drama irt the same issues avout a game nobody even cared about.
Ultimately it's your opinion, but the environment work, global illumination, facial animations etc all look quite good to my eyes.

This does not look like a cheap game.

Nah man, facial animations are really bad for this day and age. They honestly look like early PS4-era and even then they are mediocre if you compare them to a game like OG Until Dawn.

I'll give props to the lighting and the art direction is good, but graphics aren't really standing out.
Overall animations are mediocre as well.

This is like a typical PC-to-console port you buy at some sale.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Trailer looks nice. Machinegames last production was utter dogshit tho so for me it's hard to be hyped about this one.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Nope, he (adamsapple) and manabyte were making SBI jokes about naughty dog. Now he's covering his ears pretending the Indiana Jones SBI associations are fake.

?

The SBI mention hasn't been on the Indy IMDB page since July at the earliest going by archive.org, you can go check it right now and it's not there on the active page. Furthermore, a consulting company does not produce a game so adding it in the production credits was wrong whoever did it in the first place. SBI's association being fake is irrelevant, it's not there right now that's the point.

Your mate pasterl made an entire thread on it. Conveniently left out Indiana Jones though.

Not sure why you're mentioning when it was removed. SBI was getting a lot of heat so it makes sense to remove it like they removed the games list from their site too.

Unfortunately just not looking all that good and has a certain clunkiness to what little gameplay they tease. And while I'm prepared to eat my words, first person still feels like it was a mistake. Perhaps they should have done it the other way around; third-person that occasionally switches into first person for appropriate contextual or gameplay moments.
