He got asked about the upcoming games vs Liverpool/Olympiakos.

"They are both good teams and we are going to TRY to show that we are a good team too"

I really wish he would stop saying that shit.

all managers say really stupid shit. it's such a small part of their job, they probably devote the minimum possible effort towards thinking of answers to the same old questions.

Yeah but they also know that stadium atmosphere can shift depending on what they say. The importance of manager correspondence in the media is overstated but there is something to it that matters

RVP came off and we finally started playing attractive football. Rooney is better without him. Moyesus take note, get rid of RVP.

Can't wait to see RVP and Rooney standing around against Liverpool.

muller just scored. this game is over.

Thanks to a smooth pass from Thiago who just came in. And now 3:1 by Mandzukic who also didn't start and that was the main problem imo, too many regular player left on the bench. Also bad performances by Kroos and Lahm plus an extremely motivated Wolfsburg.

Anyone ever go the pub on their own?

Nobody's about today but I can't be arsed watching the late match on my laptop. Thinking of skulking at the bar with a pint.

:(

It doesn't seem we also were on the ball park with Arsenal which is disappointing. The second half of the season for us have been nothing short of shambles.

Martinez pls

Winning the champions league wasn't a realistic goal for liverpool in 2005, or Chelsea in 2012. Football teams don't get anywhere without belief.

So what's your point? We could win it (just like Chelsea and Liverpool did), but it isn't a realistic goal and I stand by what I said. Winning the Cl should ideally take lower priority than winning the league or F.A Cup for Arsenal. Every club has it's target, I assure you that when Chelsea won the CL they didn't go in that season thinking we should win the CL and finish 6th in the league.

Arnie, pls. Don't go on your own. Go watch something else instead or ask the bird next door to go with you.

If you look at this from a business perspective (I am an economics teacher after all), then this Bayern dominance is going to be bad for the Bundesliga in the long run. Lower attendance, less interest and the overall level of play in the Bundesliga will decline.
