Maiden Voyage Maiden Voyage i really like my new profile pic. i see why you've stuck with yours for so long. this forum ain't big enough for the two of us!
I knew when I joined that I wanted one avatar for the duration of my account. All my favorites back then did it and it also made following certain users easier. I literally can’t remember who most posters are when they make frequent changes.

I don’t mind making dumb changes for a short period but generally keeping it consistent has been the goal.

Why do you go for the evercade instead of something like the MiSTer or Analogue Pocket? This isn’t a facetious question, I’ve never had an evercade product so I don’t know what I’m missing.
Evercade is a niche ecosystem/platform by a small british company (therefore there might be some quality control issues compared to big companies like Nintendo) that cater to a niche audience.
Personally the reason why I got one is the appeal to have curated retro (or retro-inspired) content with physical carts, manuals and sometime other bonus like stickers or flyiers (all small stuff mind you), also because it's a easy way to get after-market retro games in physical form at a cheap price.
After-market games like Xeno Crisis/Tanglewood, Goodboy Galaxy/Witch'n Wiz, Demons of Asteborg/Astebros, Morphcat Collection, Sword of Ianna are all high quality games that run on old platforms like NES, Mega Drive, GBA, MSX2 with quite high production values and professionally made (if they were released on their destination console at the time it was still active they would have been regarded as classics today) so I like to have dedicated for them a specific platform upon which I could play their official physical releases.
Then, of course, there are the many collections of retro-games that are the bread'n butter of Evercade, some of which represent very high value for bucks (think how the Toaplan col. 3 cart offers Batsugun/Batsugun Special, Tatsujin 2, Vimana, Ghox, Fixeight, Out Zone for 20 bucks!).
Much more sparse are the exclusive content or rarely licensed content like Duke Nukem 1+2 Remastered (must-play) and the Gaelco games (or even Blood Omen which wasn't much available on modern platforms until recently).

Here an example of the goodies:

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.

I'm so happy for you!
If possible please take some pics so I can live vicariously through you 😊
I’ll be taking lots of pics!

I don’t like warm places so couldn’t deal with a week in hot weather out in the sea. I was originally looking at the Spain/france/italy cruise but nah fuck that.

I drank some Huel for lunch and I am feeling weird.

Also, farting. It seems to have stopped. I was begining to wonder there.

My neighbors seem to be flipping out a lot at night lately.

It kind of amuses me because I had a crappy day.

I can’t wait! There is another Norway cruise soon but I can’t get the time off work :( anyway July is better. I don’t like hot weather which is one reason I went for Norway. Hopefully it’s not too cold lol. Not sure if I will be able to see the northern lights or not but omg I hope so :D

Don’t know about the food. I don’t know what their menu is like I’ll need to check it out :D

V1LÆM V1LÆM doenst that distracts you?
The RGB in my Pc?

Nah. At first it did but not anymore. Well if I’m streaming to my TV it is distracting if I have the lights off in my room.

I didn’t bother with RGB until recently. I had an all black/grey system but my motherboard had some lights and the gpu lights up too. It annoyed me so decided to go all in with the RGB fans :)
