i was running furmark wrong hehe. i only had it at like a few hundred resolution before. this time i put up to 20 px (2560x1420px) below my max resolution and HOLY GREAT BALLS OF FIRE


it hit 76C (168.8 °F) on the gpu which is actually quite impressive for a 2 slot GPU with a 575W TDP. my AIO was kicking out 34C (93.2F). The heat sinks on the card were showing up to 64C (147.2 °F). The exhaust fan was showing about 50C (122 °F). the cable connector was showing 55C (131 °F).
That's almost as hot as the radiator in my room earlier today which was at 59C (138.2 °F).
i always laughed at people saying PCs could be heaters. This card is toasty as fuck. This is worst case scenario though. I'll never get near this in normal usage. Furmark is considered a "power virus".
