I found the 1st plays pretty good on the Deck, they recently updated it for it. The 2nd I found turned my Deck into a 747 taking off (But i tested on a 1st gen, not the OLED)
But they do play pretty good.
I havent played any of them over emulation
I set up my oled as an emulation beast but I always go through the games and get stuck on one for a while. At the moment it's the ps2 version of Mercenaries
Honestly can't wait for this! Had it pre ordered since it became available..
So glad I don't have to dig out the Wii U to ever play it again!

I have the Steamdeck OLED so I think it will run the 2nd game without any issues

Yeah I only played around 10 to 15 hours of the Wii U Version. Loved it but dropped it due to getting stuck and the UI text being small. Not a fan of the Wii U Gamepad either
Seeing how much work they put into the graphics and overhaul of the UI is impressive. I remember that even though the game looks fantastic on Wii U, I remember that cars and enemies would go through you. It's good to see they added actual hit detection with cars and enemies. And it looks like a good bump in visuals in comparison to the Wii U Version which still looks great

Unfortunately it doesn't run Final Fantasy VII Rebirth well at all. I got to the point where I dropped it to low settings and that made it look like a PS2 game. I just dropped it and gonna to play it when I upgrade my PC. Not a crazy upgrade though
Yeah it's the PSP Version. The PSP Emulator I have downloaded on Steamdeck is really good. I heard Valkyrie Profile Lenneth is the best version of the game

Yeah I just find it ridiculous because if they did actually work the Steamdeck version could run so much better and still look good graphically

The Emulator I use is PPSSPP. That's the best PSP Emulator I have used

I'm kind of happy since I find game collecting to be an expensive hobby. I think a better way to preserve games is through Emulators/ROMs and saving them to hard drives every five years since physicals like cartridges and disc based storage still get Bit Rot and Disc Rot

I tend to wait every five years to wait till prices go down for storage that can hold a ton. Right now I copied all my stuff to the newer drives I got (5 TB, 10 TB and 15 TB) and than I erased the stuff on my older hard drives. That's the way I do it

TV shows need to go back to dropping all of their episodes on one day. There's MAYBE one or two shows a year which are good enough to be panned out weekly, like Severance. I'm kinda interested in watching the new White Lotus season, as well as the new Reacher Season and I also wanted to continue watching The Pitt, but I'm sure as shit not going to care enough to commit to tuning in every goddamn week for like the next two months.
