White Lotus is imo verrrry mid. It's not a bad show on any account, but imo the hype around it comes mostly from like wine moms or 30 something cat ladies, which becomes especially evident if you consider how ridiculously they hyped up Jennifer Coolidge's character. People who'd like her are their main target audience.

Good Season but I prefer Season 1

that gif is btw from an actually decent show, https://myanimelist.net/anime/7590/Mayoi_Neko_Overrun, and while it's kinda trash, I overall had a better time with that than with White Lotus.

White Lotus is just kinda meh in the sense Only Murders in the Building is.

e: while checking the MAL link I noticed that Kanae Itou voiced one of the main girls. Lmao, forget White Lotus, there's maybe 5 HBO shows overall that could compete

Second Season does follow the first book closely but the show should have some of second book in Season 2. I haven't read the last two books of the Silo Trilogy yet but the first book is great

I will die on the hill that Ghibli is basically japanese Disney, but it's the tryhard loldeep version. I mean sure, their movies are fine, if you're looking for something to watch with kids.

I drive a Toyota sienna. A lovely van.

Being 6’6” I don’t really think about sports cars fitting me. I would get a Bugatti. But I would probably buy a German sports car or a Toyota. Porsche. I like the 911.

Star Trek each sunday morning at 10 on the CBC.
Buck Rogers thursdays at 8 PM on NBC.

I stopped watching sports LIVE a long time ago. I DVR it, stay awsy from spoilers and watch it the next day.
