I believe you get full gold coin value if you use a code from Amazon/Best Buy/Walmart etc at anytime. It is only if you buy something direct from the eShop that you do not.

Wonder how this will perform on Switch. Performance was extremely spotty on my old One S. Guessing 720p 30fps for Switch? Regardless, I’ll download it and give it a go. It’s a top class FPS and it’ll be fun to play it in bed with my headphones in, hope it has plug in voice chat like Fortnite.

Haven't played that much, but no issues so far, controls are responsive, looks good. Being new to Hitman the menu and gameplay were a little overwhelming, but no complaints overall.

so I have a conundrum. I want MH Rise and I want it on release day (Friday March 26th). I could preorder on Amazon and maybe risk not getting it shipped that same day. If that happens it won't come at least until Monday which as of right now it is unacceptable. I could also not preorder and just go to my local Walmart/Best Buy and buy my copy on release day. I could risk them not being properly stocked or being sold out, that would be unlikely considering the history of my local stores but is still a possibility. So, what do I do? What's the best option? What's your experience with Amazon preorders? Do they arrive on release day?

I've always gotten my Amazon pre-orders the day of release. Sometimes it's later in the evening, but I've always received them on release day. As long as you're not getting a special edition (as stock issues might arise,) I think you'll be fine.
