I don't see how that's going to work out in any way but headaches. The best I can do around here is 3.5 grams for $10 for decent mids. It goes up to $20 a gram for anything "special".

20 a G for high grade is pretty common. I get mine much cheaper due to a good connect(and its not hard to find a good connect if you know how to look plus picking up by bulk) but for more people thats fair, standard price in L.A.
I was watching Drugs Inc. on National Geographic and couldn't help but LOL when I saw some dude sayings 2 gs of "Sour Diesel" for $50 is standard in NYC. I don't know if he was taxing on idiots, or if that really is standard price in the NYC.
Solid price for mids. Can never go wrong with 28gs for 100$ if you can roll .7 of that in a blunt and smoke after work.
I've gotten to the point where shit like OG Kush is to much and I like to chill on a blunt of mids.

My cousin use to pay $200 for an oz of regs in Chicago 10 years ago.
Price seems to fluctuate wildly depending on region.
Just like the use of the term "regs" is for different parts of the country. When I was in Detroit with a cousin like 4 years ago we paid $25 a g for some midgrade that was hyped up to be amazing. I figured it was cause we were in the boonies about an hour or two outside Detroit.
If thats some legit chronic regs, $200 a zip is a great price.

There's not really any uniformity to the definition.
In Kansas it's just generally used for pot that is obviously not commercial brick pot, but very obviously not high grade.

Man you guys have it good. An ounce of good weed in Saudi could run you roughly $500 US simply because of how rare it is. We more commonly get that dark Moroccan or Afghani hash which is infinitely more affordable given how ubiquitous it is. That combined with gaining access to Netflix via VPN has seriously crippled my productivity lately. Makes living in this country almost bearable. Almost.

Got really high last night. Me and three of my other friends were getting high whilst trespassing a park. Cops passed by, grilled us but didn't stop. If they stopped, I wouldn't be here right now (I had no ID on me.)
A guide that I roughly go by before I smoke it:
If it smells like a christmas tree and is sticky, that is considered upper.
It if smells like grass and isn;t sticky at all, that is mids.
If it smells musty and looks like it's dusty, that is low grade.
One of my friends bought some in Amsterdam that deserves its own tier of shitty. It was dark brown and leafy and smelled like a combination of dirt and ass. It was definitely cannabis, but you wouldn't know it before smoking it.
Yesterday I ended up waking and baking right when I woke up. It was nice at first but really fucked up any motivation I had for the whole day.
Also the subsequent bowls I had after the first high of the day failed to live up to the wake and bake.

Is "kush" just another word for high grade weed? I never heard of the term until moving to a big city. Grew up in a small town where a lot of people grew. High grade weed was the norm and I had never heard of "kush" per se. Sure it might come around every now and again, by it never really stood out like Cinderella 99, White Russian, diesel, crystal globe, purple indica, bubble gum. Never once do I remember someone saying "oh so and so has kush right now!" Like I have with some of the other ones I've named.
Big city is all "kush". Is it really kush or do people just call high grade weed kush. I don't know, but it bothers me. Not sure why haha.

Hash is the best. I would smoke it exclusively if I had the choice. It's also good sprinkled on a bowl of weed.
It's a family of strains originally from the Hindu Kush mountains, which are mainly in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Most of the ones available (especially the flavored ones) were produced by crossing it with other strains.
They tend to be potent but that has nothing to do with the name. If someone you know calls anything high-grade "kush", they have no clue what they're talking about.

Hah, I saw a lot of american tourists do that when I lived in Amsterdam. I don't know why you'd go to Amsterdam to look at the very bottom of the menu and buy the cheapest shit.

If you lived in most parts of Europe and hash was all you could get on a regular basis and finding weed was like christmas, you wouldn't be saying that.

Yea, been away for a while. A buddy of mine at work seems to be constantly stoned and while I'm sober it's not a pretty sight. Good incentive to not get baked all the damn time. That and I am a self obsessed cunt when smoking. I couldn't give a shit about the outside world which can be a bit counter productive. I feel like a better person when I'm sober, but fuck there's nothing in this world nicer than a deep lung-full of high grade.
I've noticed this too. When I do smoke and I'm not alone, it's usually with a group of friends and an all day thing. But the first bowl is always the best. After that it's usually just smoking enough to stay high but never reach the peak I had with the first bowl.
