Yep, that's them.
This is absolutely hilarious and also kinda tragic.
I remember when I first saw this on twitter, I didn't think it was real because the intention is too overt.

Because I’m at work and was hoping to discuss the video game on a video game discussion board to get a better idea of what to expect. It’s also quicker to get an answer this way. Sorry for any offense caused to you brother, gamers rise up.Why don’t you try playing the fucking thing and then you can answer your own questions.
These are the type of people who rate your games btw.
A reminder these are grown ass men that do shit like this too.The more damning list is the Fromsoftware games. They rate them all highly except bloodborne and demon’s souls lol
God of War Ragnarok proves playing it safe needn’t be a bad thing – it can be brilliant. Santa Monica Studio has subtly tweaked its sequel across the board to craft a superior, but very similar experience, that’s designed to follow on and complement its predecessor – not simply surpass it. It leaves us with a double act that realised it didn’t need to become a trilogy. Two games that should always be remember together, and the ultimate combination of equal and unified story and gameplay, as one complete experience.
It is less linear, you have more areas like the lake of nine, and the story sure AF is less linear and bigger in scope. Is this game more linear than God of War (2018) or is it only like this in the beginning hours?
Feels like the same game but with more hand holding and more QTEs (which are also even less engaging than last time) so far. Should I play on a harder difficulty than the default setting?
A slightly worse God of War (2018) is still not bad though.
"let me give a Sony game a good score. it's getting too obvious now"An admission of guilt.
Lmao Ragnarok really is coming LOL
So far I would rate this game a 7/10. It’s good, but it’s just more of the same from the 2018 and much longer to boot. I wish game devs would realize that just because they fill their games with bloated to do list stuff it doesn’t make it a better product. But who knows, maybe it will stick the landing and made the previous 30 hours feel more worthwhile.
Really? I'm 18 hours in and haven't seen a to do list.
All the side content so far has been unique and felt very well implemented into the world.
If Ragnarok "plays the same", then what was everyone saying during the older PS gens with the Tomb Raider franchise, Crash Bandicoot, Jak 2 and 3, Spyros, Uncharted 2 and 3, Infamous 1 and 2, hell even the older God of War games had less evolution in terms of gameplay than GOW 2018 to Ragnarok.Sometimes it’s really easy to tell who hasn’t played the game.

You don't have to do none of that.Kill all the Ravens. Open all the chests, solving the same 3 to 4 variety of ”puzzles”. Find the very obvious buried treasure. Kill the Hateful. I would go one, but it would end up spoiling later things in the game. Its busy work To do list stuff.
What about all the copy/paste dungeons, bosses, Evergaols, Erdtrees, etc in Elden Ring? Was that busy work too?Kill all the Ravens. Open all the chests, solving the same 3 to 4 variety of ”puzzles”. That's all optional stuff, easily ignored if you don't enjoy it.
Do y'all even like video games lolKill all the Ravens. Open all the chests, solving the same 3 to 4 variety of ”puzzles”. Find the very obvious buried treasure. Kill the Hateful. I would go one, but it would end up spoiling later things in the game. Its busy work To do list stuff.

Copy/past bosses? There were a few that were the same model, but offered differing challenges in how you combat them. Many with entirely new moves. Copy/Paste Dungeons? Each dungeon was unique, though a few shared similar core designs - none of it was “copy paste”, unless there was like 2-3 of them that I don’t remember well. Evergoals? You mean uniquely challenging versions of a handful of bosses with a few completely unique to just those locations? Erdtrees would be the only thing that was “copy paste” and even then, they would usually be 10-30 hours apart Unless you left them all for the end and just rushed each one in a series.
Meanwhile in GoW:R it is *literally* a checklist. Its on the feckin’ map screen as a checklist.
I get you are a big Sony Fanboy, but at least have a good argument.
Ignoring the more elaborate GoW:R side missions that culminate into some really awesome story moments while hand waving away all the checklist content in Elden Ring is totally dishonest
Maybe you shouldn’t be throwing out the term fanboy at other people
Where am I “ignoring” anything? The side missions don’t make up the bulk of the content and I have stated elsewhere (unless the post was deleted) that the side missions are where the few good moments of writing reside.
But yes, I will call out the term fanboy at blatant fanboys as I have always done. The fact that *you* can’t handle the most mild criticism about this game speaks entirely about your character.
Wasn't the sarcasm obvious?Loving the salt.
Welcome back. "Neo member"
I am merely calling a spade a spade. If you find offense in that, then maybe don't make posts like this that only further support that terminology.I can handle criticism without resorting to calling people fanboys.
I already pointed out how they are different. Merely claiming "but they *are* the same!" doesn't counter any point I made. Try again. There’s tons of checklist recycled content in ER. Just because it may not show up on the map via a check list format doesn’t mean it isn’t checklist content.
That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but it’s no different than the stuff you disparage GoW with.
When did I ever say it didn't have that? Can’t believe the conversation has come down to overplaying the significance of Ravens and Chests…like what the fuck are you going on about? Elden Ring somehow doesn’t have its own loot to find or weird sequence of fetch quests and or minor puzzles?
I disagree on that last bit - personally, I don't find them any more elaborate than a typical God of War boss fight - but I do agree that there are plenty of fun optional bosses. Never did I suggest otherwise. The game has much more significant missions and optimal boss fights that are really fun and elaborate just like ER.
The only one who needs to "fuck outta here with that nonsense" is you. Never did I say that this was anything other than a mild criticism. I never suggested that the game is a massive disappointment because of the checklist design of its side activities. YOU are the fanboy who continues to push that assertion. And the bolded just further proves that you can't handle any criticism of this game. You make it seem like GoW is somehow a massive disappointment due to….ravens? Fuck outta here with that nonsense. Feels like there’s some big narrative push by certain people with an agenda to try and knock God of War down from being one of the best games made in the last few years

Ahhh yes, 131 "random cunts" and not a SINGLE one gives it a 7.
But some random dude on NeoGAF thinks GoW is no different from 2018, just more bloated with checklist stuff.
I don't care man, you do you, I'm just glad I'm not so bitter and jaded that I can't enjoy this masterpiece of a game
Have you guys seen the negative user reviews on MetaCritics? They just make no sense, as of most of these people have not played the game, this is insane. This is absolutely hilarious and also kinda tragic.

GOW: Ragnarök got a 10 from the latest Play Magazine (UK Games Magazine) they are listed on Metacritic. I can actually see this Game reaching a 95 on Metacritic
In comparison, they gave GOW (2018) an 8, so that's something at leastIts gotten over a half dozen perfect reviews in the last week. I think Edge giving it a good review will push it there maybe
EDGE Magazine will be the reason why this won't reach 95.Its gotten over a half dozen perfect reviews in the last week. I think Edge giving it a good review will push it there maybe
EDGE Magazine will be the reason why this won't reach 95.
An EDGE editor already didn't like it that much from his tweets...besides the fact the 2018 entry got an 8.
If anything EDGE will seal the deal on this 94. If they give a 7 it could even go down to 93, who knows. (and it would be the game's 1st 7 lmao)
Edgy!EDGE Magazine will be the reason why this won't reach 95.
