This movie definatly doesnt deserve a bluray. It as average B production with bad acting as it gets. Just download a torrent, its already available since a week ago and give it a watch. Movie was barely serviceable.

Because its the fanbase. Ive been a GT fan since PS1 days but I can tell when the movie is mediocre. They got 2 high-class actors, the production is B tier, acting of the other people is cringe, and I dont really find anything special about effects that people were raving about. Also this is nitpicking but it was bugging me that this is based on a true story but they modernized the setting...obviously they want to promote the lates game but yeah GT academy was GT5 days not GT7 and some cars he races against, they didnt exist for that time period. For me, it would of been better if they made an actual documentary about this like Drive To survive, but that wouldnt sell popcorn at the box office.
I too saw on Reddit people shouting how great the movie was...no, its pretty mediocre at best.

Being based on a true story doesn't mean it's 100% fact. 300 is based on a true story, that doesn't mean it's at all accurate.

I have one like this because it folds up...and a logitech G29 wheel/pedal and shifter...i could have done without the shifter because it doesnt feel realistic. $500 for all or less if you are thrifty.

Ok lets not get carried away lol. 300 is something that happened centuries ago and only proof of it is in some scriptures. The truth could of been changed and warped 20 times over time. Again, those are my nitpics but not the reason the movie sucks. It sucks because its bad acting and boring as hell with cringe dialogue.

Bronze/Silver/Gold all circuit experience tracks, bronze/silver/gold sportsmode time trial that change every week. There are also few longer races with good earning (Sardegna 30m race, Spa 1h race, Le mans 30m race, Tokyo Express in rain)

Check out the fanatec reddit, they are having some issues at the moment with logistics. It's getting better but expect a shipping delay I would advise. Especially in UK.
I was going to go with thrustmaster but went for the DD Pro 8nm. I'm really looking forward to it
The other alternatives I considered was the T300 base, GT28 wheel and the T- LCM pedals. I'm going to desk mount to start with.Which are the best races to grind currency currently btw. Been away a while. I can see Sardegna is decent and Le Mans?

Sardegna Road Track WTC 800 (25 minutes with good pace in a Gr.2 car) 727,500 CR
Spa Francorchamps WTC 800 (1 hour endurance) 1,500,000 CR
Tokyo Expressway WTC 600 (around 25 minutes) 825,000 CR
The credit values are for finishing the race with a clean race bonus.

It was the Logitech G Driving Force shifter. I had got it because I prefer that type of shifting, however there is no type of resistance or anything at all so I don't like it. Could have saved some money.

Understeer at corner exit is hilarious.That Tsukuba TT is hard. I rarely use FF cars.
edit: FFB with my wheel feels different than I remember. It seems improved, passing more useful information on car behavior.
If you carry enough speed through the corner you might even go with 4th gear for some corners to avoid this. At least use the third!It's good that this is so short so you can improve fairly quickly.
I struggle with the new one at Road Atlanta. I'm just not made for these Gr.1 cars. My mind is not able to cope with the hybrid.

Another track I like, so got it under 3% in about one hour. I believe there was a test in one of the Red Bulls some time ago that helped a lot now, since I had to practice that one SO MUCH.
One thing I dislike is to do a cool down lap to fill the hybrid battery since retry erases the reference lap. If I don't do that, it runs out of juice at the last big straight.
To make the most of the hybrid you have to think of ways to keep the wheel near the center, otherwise the system disengages.

I remember that TT. It was with the X2019. Incredible hard.
I had the same experience with Catalunya. In the beginning of the year we had a TT with Gr.3 cars there and it took me ages to get the gold. But when it reappeared a few weeks back i still knew exactly how to get around the track with ease.
I like how these Time Trials force me out of my comfort zone and into situations that will strengthen my skill.
Yeah to keep the hybrid filled or to "ride the break" is my complaint since there is no flow where i can only focus on driving fast. I went with the Bugatti Chiron VGT Gr.1 to avoid this. Just barely managed to achieve gold and it took me more laps than i'm willing to admit. But i should be good for the next time.

Gave Nurburgring TT a shot, but it's too much practice for me to get to a good lap. Did a "reference" lap and never got to beat that due to stupid decisions on all subsequent tries lolThe latest TT on St. Croix B reminded me how awesome layout A is. Especially for Gr.3 or 2. And completely unutilized without a single event.

In my holiday i spend a huge amount of time practicing the Nordschleife in all kinds of cars and events. Really wanted to get better here but it takes a lot of dedication. And then suddenly the TT with the Honda dropped.

I'm back on the wheel! I've been playing GT more but still not as much as before. Slowly increasing though.
I am less on the dailies and more on lobbies, mainly GR3 or 4 BoPd

I have one friend that I usually play with, and been trying to persuade 2 more to buy the PS5. Not an easy task, because they will also have to buy a DriveHub-like device or new wheel
As for my GT7 routine... I usually peek at the TT. Then I look at the dailies and lobbies with BoP (look for rooms with friends, usually get disappointed
). I look for 10~15 lap races or so, to get about 20~30 min races.BUT... I love most if not all real circuits, as well as most original ones. Dragon Trail, Deep Forest. Can't bother with Nords, for reasons you already know
If nothing else, then it's Sardegna time for the monies!

Menu Book 39 sees you racing the World GT Series so it's centered around Gr.3 cars. Any GT3 car you like will do the job. I think there is only a PP restriction for these so you could go with a Gr.2 car and de-tune it if you struggle. Rain is possible so be sure to buy intermediate tires just in case.

For Sardegna it's the same. Every Gr.3 will work but Gr.2 de-tuned make this fairly easy. The Honda NSX Concept-GT '16 is my favorite.
Le Mans is a Gr.4 race but every car works here. I suggest the Nissan Silvia or the Renault Mégane Trophy out of the Gr.4 cars. Gr.3 cars are compromised in top speed through the PP level but are much faster in the corners and for road cars you need to fuel save aggressively. Be sure to have intermediate tires ready.

I understand that the guy who’s stated that the next GT7 update will be the biggest yet is usually on point. If so, it has to be better than the pretty awesome update in Feb, which is really wetting my appetite.
We can only speculate, but I reckon there could be a decent new championship, maybe using Sophy. Add a few new cars and maybe a track or two, and I’d be over the moon.

Pretty exciting isn't it. More content in the sense of tracks and cars seems to be a given but what else could there be? Feels like there is more to it than just that. And looking back what they have already added it's hard to think of significant additions.

GTPlanet members are speculating an early November update. Hopefully, our patience is rewarded. Some meaningful new content would be awesome. I’ve been asking for more championships for ages now, so that would be my personal wish. And the option to create my own championships would also be very welcome.
