If it was dlc I'd imagine there wouldn't be a graphical leap.
Also they never released a number GTA without making it a new game.
Dlc would mention that it is an expansion of gta 5.
Gta 6 looks like a new game based on ps5 hardware.

GTA V's countryside had a ton of filler space and there wasn't much to do. That GTA VI map has over 2 and a half times more countryside. Can we expect that much more size and have it a lot more interactive than V? It just seems like there'd end up being more useless space. In addition, the travel would become a chore. Driving from the middle of Vice City to that northwestern area is equivalent to driving from the middle of Los Santos to Paleto Bay 2 and a half times.

I'm pretty sure there'll be random things to do along with story beats but at the end of the day you're gonna be driving fast cars/speed boats/heli's etc so you need those expanses to make the journeys somewhat realistic, look at the size of the RD2 and you traversed it on horse and there was always something you would come across, trust in R* nobody does open worlds anywhere near as good

As an adult i have to watch/play horror games/movies in my bedroom. And anything that has to do with demons. Otherwise Id get the "I don't want that occultic horror stuff being played in our house." from my parents. They think by watching movies the evil spirits will come into our home.

Definitely is wild to think about. I remember the days of waiting for just the first trailer to drop seemed to take forever and now time is just flying.
First trailer was a great taste, but I'm really looking forward to seeing more gameplay. I really liked what I saw of Vice City, it's my favourite GTA setting so I'm absolutely stoked they're going back to it.

Youd be surprised. I dont doubt a slight downgrade but mainly its the angles used to represent the game which we dont really see the game as while playing. If GTA 5 is anything to go by, I think it looked amazing even after the over the top trailer. Its Rock*, if theres one gaming developer Id bet all my money on its them. Every single release since GTA 3 has been monumental in gaming.

My hype is zero for this at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt it will be a great game, it's one of my favorite studios. Just tired of the endless wait for these games. This time around I somehow expected the game would be quite close to launch when it got the first trailer, that wasn't exactly the case. And on top of that the big delay.
I prefer the Fallout 4 way, that was perfect. I believe a few other games did this too.
