How does Switch Cloud version games compare to PlayStation Portal?

last time I tested a cloud game on switch (they all have demos) it was pretty shit.
last time I tested PS+ streaming it was also pretty shit... but then again I tested it on Heavenly Sword, which is one of the worst games in its genre and has massive input lag even natively... so might not have been the best comparison lol

It's ass. Imagine cloud gaming on any other platform but way worse.
Some say it's better than nothing, but if, say, RE8 is so bad it's not even worth playing anyway I don't know what the difference is.
I really hope it's just a necessary evil due to limited hardware. Would suck to see this solution used on "Switch 2", especially if it's the only version of the game available.
