I would love to play Resident Evil Village on my PS5 with my Quest 3.Allow other headsets and controllers to work with the PS5 and make bank on sales of software.

This would be big. Let other manufacturers do most of the hard work like valve does.Allow other headsets and controllers to work with the PS5 and make bank on sales of software.
Yup. If I could use my Quest headset and controllers to play PS5 VR games, Sony would already be making money they never would have before.I would love to play Resident Evil Village on my PS5 with my Quest 3.
its been releasing a ton of games at a steady pace.Needs more games, I prefer PC VR for this.
That's why the WiiU sold like pancakes, remember that Mario kart 8 and Zelda Botw released on it. really huge successSoftware sells hardware. End of story.
its been releasing a ton of games at a steady pace.
This is also coming soon:
Lakitu, the little Koopa in a cloud with a camera who was "following" Mario in Mario 64.I have never heard of the term lakitu.
Its still releasing a ton of games regardless, you can argue promotion has been lackluster, proper triple A devs aren't working on it and it hasn't given it hype. But games? its getting a steady flow of good games. While true to an extent, if compared to its VR competitors platforms, they are aren't there yet. Meta is dumping games on us left and right, same with PC.
Edit: and without a larger user base, 3rd party devs will view it as an afterthought.
Thank you, while I am well aware of the character, I never took the little time to learn his/her name.Lakitu, the little Koopa in a cloud with a camera who was "following" Mario in Mario 64.
If this is truly the case, they need to do a better job at getting this info to potential customers eye balls. Its still releasing a ton of games regardless, you can argue promotion has been lackluster, proper triple A devs aren't working on it and it hasn't given it hype. Is your line of thinking that the lack of non-game software hurts its perception? Correct me if I am missreading you.Lower the price, backwards compatibility with PS4 software and have a pipeline for software do people don't feel like they bought a toy.
Correction, I want everyone to not feel like they bought something that gets used once or twice then left. VR2 just seems like such a bizarre launch considering that hardware isn't backwards compatible with previous softwareIs your line of thinking that the lack of non-game software hurts its perception? Yes, a blunder of larger significance than many give it credit for. The lack of BC was deflating when I heard it confirmed before release. Seriously took my hype level down considerably.Correction, I want everyone to not feel like they bought something that gets used once or twice then left. They don't even have a VR client!!! You could do better, try again.3 months of Evil Angel included with each VR set.
They don't even have to be VR exclusives. Gow conversion that lets you throw that axe around. TLoU2 conversion would look amazing and be an intense thrill ride.Make some proper fucking games.
Full length. Decent narrative. No more ‘experiences’. More Alyx/CotM type games.
What do you mean "taken down"? A mod is not something RS can take down.Get a gaming PC, it's a great idea regardless.
But unfortunately, this mod was taken down by Rockstar. This is why I want the PSVR2 version (badly).
From what I understand, it doesn't work anymore. Maybe I'm wrong. What do you mean "taken down"? A mod is not something RS can take down.

I also think it's potential impact is overstated. They just need one game that doesn't become obsolete for the user after hour 20.
Half Life Alex ain't gonna get it done.
I don't. Never used any kind of VR in my life.Do you currently have a pc headset, or a stand-alone that you connect to the PC?
I think it would benefit Sony long term to open up their platforms a little. As long as they produce compelling software, they would still ensure strong software sales through their ecosystem.
The handful of big games are of high quality from what I understand. I only ask because a good network and a $150-$180 used Quest 2 can give you a relatively awesome PCVR experience. Quality VR games are really starting to flow into SteamVR if you already own a capable PC.I don't. Never used any kind of VR in my life.
But If I ever buy one I want to choose Psvr 2 if it can use on pc. Because I can use for both ps5 and PC. Ps5 has some good exclusives like GT7, Re4 Remake,..
Thanks for suggestion but I'm in no rush for VR gaming. I don't even have much time for playing games anyway lol.The handful of big games are of high quality from what I understand. Your are in a situation where your have never tried VR, so I can understand your perspective. I promise you though, VR experiences, in general (not just gaming), are some of the most impactful entertainment experiences you can have in your home. Thanks for suggestion but I'm in no rush for VR gaming. Lol, oops. ThxLol I fixed it for you. Seems like you have Quest on the mind
I guess I just don’t know why Sony is half assing their handling of VR. It’s like they’re too afraid to fully commit, but still want their foot in the door.
I realize I am comparing it to a product from a saturated market, but Quest 3 alone sold better than Apple Airpods on Amazon during black Friday. I'm a VR enthusiast and even I was surprised at its strong showing. I think the demand is there for the right product. This is just from my point of view of course. The demand for VR just isn't there. i'd just give up on it commercially right now. maybe keep researching ways to make it smaller.
Failing that, at least loosen restrictions and allow softcore stuff. Sony just had been playing it too safe ever since they let the Western studios run things.Allow VR porn easily via web browser. VR porn with the Quest is quick and easy, and a major plus over Sony VR.
I think it's well-established that the launch and near launch has been fumbled. No need to instigate. What do you mean? GAF told me PSVR2 would be VR's great breakthrough!
