There's pretty much no chance of them making the game I want. Comic books and Street Fighter are two of my favorite things, but I find the MVC games to be chaotic, unplayable nonsense. What I would want is for them to get rid of the tag stuff, get rid of the juggling stuff, slow it way the fuck down, and basically make a one-on-one game that plays like Street Fighter IV.

Hell, I don't even want the Capcom characters. I just want Marvel Street Fighter.

OP, I'll take your mid boss idea and raise the stakes...

I loved the idea in Capcom vs SNK 2 (as well as SVC Chaos) that there were multiple end bosses depending on the conditions of your performance/characters, etc.

Picture this: two Capcom final bosses and two Marvel bosses, each with several stages

For example, let's say:

SIGMA (with beam saber) - SIGMA MECH (fills the screen) - SIGMA VIRUS (cool, neon looking head)
Gtype 1 (half human with pipe) - Gtype 3 (dog version, faster and stronger) - Gtype 4 (blob that fills the screen)

Marvel would be a bit harder, since nearly every crossover game ends with a MU super-villain (Apocalypse, Onslaught, Thanatos, Abyss, Galactus) but same reasoning here. Maybe a trippy, reality bending enemy like Legion or Proteus would be cool too...

Honestly UMVC3 was so close to perfection in my eyes that I would change very little outside giving the graphics a next gen polish. New characters are always nice but not at the expense of losing existing ones, and certainly not the Marvel ones. They add brightness and humour to the game which is one of the game's greatest charms.

A few tweaks to some characters to address balance issues would be welcome but we're not reinventing the wheel here. With a game so full of depth and possibilities it's unrealistic to expect a perfectly balanced roster. There'll be winners and losers next time whatever changes they make.

Not to mention 12 Mega Man characters pulled from only three of the seven series.

There's no reason to include even half of that many characters, but if it absolutely has to be done, you can at least put in a couple of guys from Battle Network/Star Force/ZX.

Yea this is about my list as well.

Remove TACs, tweak X factor, expand on the H&H mode as well as roster and maybe take it to the next level with custom assists.

Capcom All Stars is the way to go. Salvage the amazing characters they made in UMVC3 (Frank West, Chris, Dante, Wright, Trish etc) and make a next gen 50 character Capcom VS game.

Def number one for me as well. Gene/Dante teams would be awesome. My avatar gives it away but Lady would be super cool (most definitely not gonna happen), but maybe cause she was featured recently in one of the new Monster Hunter games.

On the Marvel side just give us more badass, like Gambit, Venom, Sabretooth. I loved Sabretooth in MvC2.

Marvel were, before they became Disney Big Time (tm) and their IP became valuable. I imagine that the Marvel license is too expensive/too much work to get for Capcom.

This is true, a certain type of incentive other than just online points would be huge. I mean PS4 with streaming will be big with new fighting games but we need some kind of built in game stat and ranking system worldwide that is meticulous with an individuals stats but in a good online/social way rather than just an ID card or something like that.

But seriously, I'd like more varied representation amongst series. Not the same 3 Darkstalkers used in every cameo game, not the entirety of SF2's roster (Hasn't gotten this bad yet.) and specifically, Megaman characters with the name Megaman that aren't classic/Zero pallet Swaps. Adding the likes of the 1942 plane can come later.

Marvel's pretty good with this, in my book.
