Is fall/atumn the greatest season?

Fall colors, warm days with cool autumn winds, pumpkin pie, the crispy, savory smell of burning wood, that New England Halloween feel... It's the best.

But, to be fair, fall is special because it only comes once a year. The other seasons make it shine because we have to wait for it. :D

It's coming quickly! Can't wait for these views.

Autumn and Winter are the best seasons for sure. Spring is okay until it gets too hot.

Not a fan of summer.

I love Autumn. The air starts to get a little crisp, you start to get that light frost hitting the plants outside first thing in the morning, Halloween is the best holiday of the year, and football everywhere! Everywhere!

i love being able to sleep with my windows open at night. Cool air, just cool enough that a blanket will give you that cozy warm feeling. Ahh...

Living in Mass. I want to try and travel around this October and really take in the season. Probably visit Old Sturbridge village, I've heard they really get into the Fall festivities.

that first day where there's a chill to the air is one of the best days of the year no matter what's going on in my life at the time. I can't imagine living in a place without four seasons.

Fall is the best season by a long shot.

Relief from the oppressive heat and humidity of the summer, cooler temps allowing for comfortable bonfires and cookouts, spectacular color changes in nature, so good.

Spring has that "all things are new again" feel, but it doesn't touch fall. I like winter for the gray days and the occasional snow (I live in the southern U.S., we don't get much here) but it doesn't allow for much outdoor activity.

I always try to take the majority of my vacation time in the fall.

This man knows what's up. Summer is far and away the best.

I had to be in Austin a couple weeks ago and I can say with some personal authority that it really depends on where you live.

God damn. I felt like I was walking into a sauna when I got off the plane.

BS. Fall + Winter is the best. The chill in the air in fall, Halloween, Apple Cider and Thanksgiving. There is nothing better than taking an evening walk in Winterr after a bunch of snow has just fallen. The calmness is amazing.

I'd have far more exuberance for autumn if I didn't reside in Florida.

There are two seasons — summer and winter. It's essentially Death's humid waiting room when it's not raining.

Solution. Get the hell out of Florida.

My favorite season is the one where it rains the most. As I'm not sure which one that is, and spring is definitely not my favorite season, fall is my favorite season.

Autumn and Spring are my two favorites. When I was still in school I'd probably say summer and winter. Now not so for much. For starters, this entire summer I've been essentially marinating in 90 degree heat. I can't take it anymore. Winter is cool until you have a real job and spend every morning in near sub-zero temperatures digging your car out of the snow or scraping the ice off your windshield and hoping you don't killed by the drivers who can't drive in snow.

Autumn is great because it's not too cold, it smells great, Thanksgiving, the best video games of the year and pumpkin spice lattes. I don't even like football and I love fall. Spring is cool just because it comes after freezing your ass off in the winter.

Yes Sept-Dec is the best time of the year for me
I love Autumn

The weather here is perfect nearly every day and theres so many holidays and college football home games

Bump.
The nights here are slowly getting darker and my favourite time of the year is approaching.
Sept-dec is pure magic.
