Even so. That forum doesn't represent Xbox fans as a whole. But just to ensure any reply or counter was in good faith. I decided to look it over to see if your description was accurate.

Following your link. I looked over the first 150 pages. Not posts... Pages. The discussion is obviously regarding mergers and acquisitions, but there's nothing inherently crazy about that, as this forum discusses similar all the time.

Ahh, but your central claim is that xbox fans "biggest dream is to keep games off Playstation". In the first 150 entire pages, the word "Playstation" shows up twice, with the word "Sony" making an appearance twice as well. Both in reference to Square Enix working closely with Sony. There is indeed one poster. With a measly single post. That mentions how funny it would be if MS were to acquire SE.

Anyone who reads through the first 150 pages from your link, and then reads just your posts in this thread can easily see that you single handedly post far more extreme fanboy drivel than any of those posts, and it's not even by a small margin.

Microsoft, for once, is actually ahead of the curve rather than arriving to the party late.

MS has been ahead plenty, Gamerscore, Home button, Hdd, etc All the companies work off each other and that's great.

Sony and Nintendo will likely just choose to make it a little bit more expensive than $10 or $15 for their games, which is something I totally think both can get away with. I already view games as a higher form of entertainment than movies.

They subsequently decided (in May) to spin-off Warner Media which is undergoing a $43 billion merger with Discovery Inc.

When they were looking to sell the entire gaming division a while back the MK IP was NOT included in that, WB was going to keep Mortal Kombat likely for films, tv, animation etc. So whoever buys NRS would need to license MK from WB if they wanted them to continue making those games. That greatly diminishes NRS value, they don't own MK or Injustice so they are a specialty studio that has only made fighting games (any non fighting MK games were made when the team was still part of Midway and not called NRS) I doubt they are for sale right now based on the response from WB the other day anyway, they specifically said NRS and TT would be part of the merger. Jez used WB being "unhappy with the MK movie" for his reasoning but that's the opposite of reality, they were very pleased with the movie's performance

Dude again great service, but there is more to this then a great service and the GAMES is what people want. It's awesome the Box has some powerhouse studios now, but the bulk of what we've seen is STILL hopes and dreams...at least on PS5 the bulk of what THEY have shown is gameplay with the subtitles "Captured on PS5" even if its a "mix of cinematic and gameplay footage"

This is true lol, but in the grand scheme of things means nothing if MS finds themselves outsold two to one again. Nearly the bulk of the "killer lineup" you mentioned is either wait and see, or hopes and dreams. Don't get me wrong they might rock...but they also might be average or suck, we don't know as we've seen almost nothing from nearly every damn studios sans the usual (Halo, Gears, Forza)

MS has been purchasing studios like mad, but again if that doesn't equal sales the shareholders will be put out, and you might see changes. The 360 was wrecking house in the seventh gen, and then with Mattrick focused on the Kinect and abandoned traditional games (an exaggeration lol but you get the point) and the brass was very happy, as it was a HUGE seller and made bank profit!

AKA Skippy, what is best for the bottom line is not ALWAYS best for gamers and vice versa...So many things can change about Gamepass, it's pricing, it's offers, being put on other systems like PS and Nintendo etc...the bottom line is the most important to the business as a whole...not making Xbox loyalists happy! Gamepass IS a great deal, but it's simply a service nothing more, at the end of the day that service like so many is subject to change

Oh, and before you use the "MS Preident has Phil's back" that's for now...again if the profit isn't there the CEO can be replaced by the board and the new Pres might have a completely different outlook...Just look at what happened to Konami, the new Pres came in and saw much greater profit in Pachinko and smaller experiences...again, profit for the Studio, but we made out quite badly huh

-Insane rumors start to percolate
