Looks clean! Congratulations!

I recommend grabbing an Elite 2 controller to further enhance your gaming experience. Its worth the price for how premium it is, and its got a 30+ hour battery.
Lucky enough to have demo’d an elite 2 it’s a game changer for sure, there’s a bunch of things I like about it like adjusting the triggers and that dpad.

My Series X gets more use than my PS5. It can do more and seems like there's more games to play on it. Do yourself a favor and get your gamepass keys from Cdkeys, eneba and gamivo are ok too. Also check out the MS rewards if you havent and earn points so you can redeem MS giftcards to buy more games or gamepass.

what exactly are these "more things" and "more" games?

I still think this is a troll thread as I feel like I remember this guy having a Xbox before (if this is addressed in the thread my bad).

BUT

I actually just got an Xbox today, my buddy was selling his so I got a Series X with Elite Series 2 and the 1TB WD expansion card for $350. He's trying to save money for a trip and it was a good deal. I have a ITX PC and have been pretty vocal about most people not having any sort of need for a Xbox if they have a PC but I figure I'll still get use out of it while also helping a buddy out.

I also bought the Xenon controller for it too for when I play 360 games for the nostalgia.

That’s a deal to cheer about and I had an Alienware 15R3 and played gears that means I had an Xbox?

It has chromium edge so you can do geforce now or stream games locally from your pc. You can also do emulators with dev mode. There's also more streaming apps and apps in general. Looking at games, there has been more exclusives on the Xbox Series compared to the PS5. And there is also free backwards compatibility all the way back to the og Xbox, and if you have a series X most of those games are enhanced.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Tired of the ill will Xbox threads, especially when the game line up looks good (Indiana Jones, Gears E Day, Forza, Starfield, Halo Infinite 2 etc.) and for a little while I was on board with PlayStation but we’ll call it a non shooter console, feels like a date night console at this point everyone reaching out for Astro bot and a ps4 remaster. Yuck.

So here’s the console itself

Dust off your PS3, damn.

Shiny Xbox looking beautiful. GG.

Ok….. Two things:

Firstly : This is the WRONG place to ask that question

Secondly: Enjoy! Can’t speak for others but I love my xbox. My friends and I have been xbox users for years and we ain’t going anywhere until MS pulls the plug. , so I guess we are just happy in our little gaming bubble.

Good selection of games. GPU is well worth it.hardware and controller are great. But yo…… this is a bad place to ask what you asked! 😐😬

Buying an Xbox now and asking Gaf what it thinks about it is like the worst bait and troll attempt or simply the wish for humiliation and pain.

Tell us what it is so we can accommodate you better 😉

Xbox series x is a great way to enjoy gamepass...would i advise anyone to buy one outside of a firewall deal...no way.

But, enjoy op. It's awesome hardware.

The biggest issue is that it’s unreliable AF. Get it somewhere where you have good return warranty.

But overall it is a great controller.

Fantastic console. GamePass is amazing value for money and there is no console with greater backwards compatibility. It even has VRR and upgraded graphics and framerate for most of tha back catalogue. As a multiplatform gamer you'll be in for a treat.

Xbox also has a LOT more functionality in the form of app support, media servers and it has a internet browser and developer mode.

Oh, and the deals are better compared to PS if you're a GP member. You can even save money on your subscription by playing games.
