I live about eight hours from where my Father lived. I had to drive down the next day to meet up with family, go there 2pm and went to the funeral home, set up his arrangements and then his house. It was crushing but the drive there helped me process a lot of what was going on.

Thankfully my father had a lot of his things in order so it made it a lot more streamlined. It was a sudden death, and not something that we knew might come. But somehow my father had the foresight to make sure it went as smoothly as possible.
