This game has Kings Field all over it, except for the controls- which makes it amazing. Brilliant game.

This is less high fantasy and more northern mythology. Amazing atmosphere.

Two great games that fits the bill perfectly.

While Devil Spire leans more into the Roguelite direction, it still fits very much into the spirit of King's Field. Not that it's really hiding any of its inspirations, going off the logo alone (and even the "DS" name).

Devil Spire is fairly easy to pick up on, even with the intentional "jank". There's a lot to discover and experiment with.

First off, it's "King's Field", not "Kingfield" or "Kingsfield".

Didn't we have this thread the other day? Anyway check out Hark the Ghoul. Basically a Lunacid-like but better (imo).

Monomyth. It just released in early access. There's an old demo available too if you wish to give it a shot.
Dev is very active with the game and is making good progress. Its VERY much a King's Field inspired game.
