Lego approached Sony with the idea to create a "Lego Horizon" game

Horizon's biggest problem is not the world building or the lore or story imho. Most of it is pretty good to great, and the concept imo is brilliant.

It's Aloy.

She's just dry AF, but I feel this is mainly due to how the actress portrays her.

If she is just written that way, then it's super sad. She literally has zero personality.

The actress that plays Aloy in Spanish is excellent, one of the few cases in which the dubbed version is better, but Aloy can't be salvaged, she has less personality than a piece of cardboard. After +100 hours put in the first game, I couldn't tell any personal trait.

They copied Ayla from The Clan of the Cave Bear and didn't write her right.

There's plenty of things on this planet that are extremely popular and absolute dog shit. Horizon fits perfectly into that category. Gaming for absolute normies.

it's just not my cup of tea in the slightest. its like warmed up tramps piss...if someone likes that as a cup of tea...more power to them lol
But how do you know?

Hey, I'm gonna bump this because something just occurred to me.

Lego and Nintendo have the same, exact same fucking business model.

That is why they are so buddy buddy, and all tied up together, they are basically the same company selling different things and crossing over into each others area.

Think of just, like Disney value type nintendo stuff they do. Who else does that? HELLO, LEGO.

Have you priced lego sets lately? Especially those kept rare by artificial scarcity? Who else does that?

I mean, I love both companies, but it only makes sense that Lego goes to bat for Nintendo at every chance, and vice versa. They are basically emulating each others success and have become section kings of their respective industries doing so. I never realized it but Lego and Nintendo are the fucking same. Damn.

Uncharted make more sense given the humour and it actually has a film.
Not as cool of a setting as Horizon, but yeah, I can see it working. It's at least better than people suggesting Astro Bot, LittleBigPlanet or Ratchet & Clank, when a LEGO game wouldn't really add much to all these series.
