20-year-old Milwaukee resident Jalin White has been charged with two felonies after allegedly throwing an infant against a wall in a rage brought on by his poor performance in a video game. Local police say they became involved with the incident on November 5, when they received a criminal complaint filed by Children's Wisconsin, a local pediatric hospital.

"The defendant was playing NBA 2K and the game was competitive," the complaint states, later noting that White "became frustrated while holding [the baby], ultimately throwing [the child] against the wall." White was later charged with one count of felony child abuse and one count of felony child neglect.

I feel so sorry for the children being brought into this world by people who should never, never be put in charge for a human life.
Just tragic. As a father (and a human being) my heart breaks when reading stuff like this.
 
Medical professionals treating the victim also discovered other injuries--including a broken clavicle--in various states of healing, suggesting the child may have been physically abused prior to White's outburst over the game.

Honestly, I'm having physical pain reading this. Since I have my kiddo, my gaming time shrinked to a quarter of what it used to be but the dopamine I get from staying with my son outnumber the one any games ever gave me.
 
This generation of people are the worst. If was up to me this guy would rot in prison.

You can replace the "playing NBA 2K" part with literally anything. Some people are not suited to be parents and will hurt their children for no reason.

Damn, that's dark, the baby isn't expected to live since it has multiple skull fractures and brain injuries. Also other injuries to suggest it wasn't the first time this has happened.

A CT exam revealed the baby had a "large comminuted parietal skull fracture to the right side that was slightly displaced, along with a large right-sided subdural hemorrhage with midline shift of the brain from right to left. A chest x-ray revealed multiple, six total, posterior rib fractures in different stages of healing, along with a healing left clavicle fracture. A craniectomy was performed to drain the subdural hemorrhage and alleviate pressure on the baby's brain. Based on the severity of the baby's brain injury, the baby is not expected to survive."

Dude deserves the maximum punishment possible.

I'm unsure how I sit on the death penalty.
On one hand they don't deserve to live, but it's an easy way out.
But on the other hand jail for life (actual life, not this get out early crap) is a horrible life.
