I'm a father, my ex left me and prevented me from seeing my child for a full month. Until I god lawyers and the court involved. (he was 5 weeks old...) He's now 6 months old and I can only see himn twice a week.
I'd do anything to get back that lost time, I miss him terribly when I can't see him... I made a mistake dating that witch... but I wanted this kid and I'll fight for as long as it takes to see him as often as I can.

But yeah... I was messed up... If it wasn't from my amazing family and friends who never left me alone with my thoughts, I don't think I would've made it.

I'm 35, back at my parents because she took everything plus inflation and housing in Canada is a flippin mess but on another side, It does help me to rebuild my finances.
I did manage to clear all of the depts caused my the whole legal process and she is short on cash so she can't keep fighting
The baby is older so slowly court will take a more neutral stance instead of prioritizing the mother.

I will be back on my feet and I will reach the 50/50 shared custody.

Who in their right mind keeps anything important within throwing distance when playing a rage inducing game?
Unless he planned it out ahead of time the guy's likely going to get off on a 'crime of passion' or 'heat of the moment thing' paired with some kind of negligence charge for having the baby within 'throwing distance' while gaming.
