YSO predicted 180k for first week of Bloodborne and they have been pretty spot on usually. I would guess the hardware stays flat from this week or goes slightly up.
It will be pretty impressive if ps4 manages to hit 50k without having any bundle in non holiday season. I personally believe it will be around 35-40k. With BB around 175kI think it'll be 150k+ and PS4 will be stable or go slightly up

Either Marvelous was more reasonable with their shipments than with SK2, or it sold better than expected. Curious to see the shipment breakdown between Vita and PS4...

XB1 FF-Type-0 not in top 50. Is it the worst debut for a title having the Final Fantasy in its name or did it happen before too?

There are several Final Fantasy titles between 500 and 1.000 units sold, but they are all re-releases (Ultimate Hits) or limited editions.
Looks like it was likely under 1K then. I wonder what SE's expectations were.

That's nice but we don't know how many copies were shipped, would hope for a 100k opening though and possible 200k lifetime including release of a cheaper version.

With how historical sales of the Souls IP has done in Japan ( upward of 300k on PS3), I highly doubt Sony would only ship 30% of their 'peak potential.'
Sure, it won't come close to 300k because of install base differences, but I can't imagine Sony having printed at least 150-200k for the first run, not incl.rerelease.

Let's be fair - Xbox has <50k userbase, Wii U had lot more when Yakuza released
I just realised that 6 months after release and Xbox One has yet to exceed Xbox 360 first day sales....

In last years figures, ps4 numbers drop to ~20k next week, and then ~10k the week after, where it stays for a good number months. Ps4 should make up some substantial ground with Bloodborne next week (45-50k week I think) and the baseline of the console should be substantially higher than last year in the quieter next few months, allowing more ground to be covered.
MGS5 will provide a huge boost in September so that will probably, IMO, be the point when YTD beats LYD, if it already has not happened at that point.

Just because the PS3 SKU will be the sales leader doesn't mean PS4 won't get a decent boost from it.

The problem I have is that we have already seen a previous MGS on the platform. It might have been a glorified demo, but it still was an MGS title.
I don't know, the way the second Yakuza performed on/for PS4 makes me question the potential of another cross-gen title. I fully undestand the differences between Yakuza and MGS series as well as 0 and V but still...

MGS consistently do 800k+. A bundle is already confirmed for the PS4 as well. MGS GZ did around 40% on PS4 and with the budle and it being later on I'm guessing that ratio will increase. I'm expecting 400k on the PS4.
