According to sinobi, MH4 pre-orders are crazy.
Amazon.jp, Rakuten, Toys R Us, GEO or even Tsutaya and more... the game is sold out in this places. Until Capcom increases the 600k shipment, they won't take more pre-orders.
Bic Camera is the only big chain of stores that is still taking MH4 mail orders.

Comgnet - 89 days from release:
MH4 - 812pt
MHP3 - 1162PT
MH3G - (not in the top 20, only reached 800pt 25 days before the release anyway...)
If Capcom hadn't put such small initial shipment, numbers might be the same as MHP3. Sony/Vita fans might want to stay away from MC threads during September. Distract yourselves with Tokyo Game Show or something...
Why wouldn't Capcom bump the initial shipment? Do they want to stir demand? 600k doesn't seem like an extreme number given the high interest and this being MH4.

eShop numbers will be absolutely crazy if the shipment for MH4 doesn't increase.
Is MH4 releasing on eShop? Don't remember.
Yes. I'm not sure where I read it but I have it listed as Digital and Retail and I assume retail only unless I read otherwise. Edit: 3 is available as digital. Is MH4 releasing on eShop? Don't remember.

MH vs Pokemon? Pokemon wins right?

Wait, the 600k MH4 shipment is confirmed? I thought that was a placeholder or something.
More than 3M, less than 5M.Speaking of which, are there any predictions going as regards MH4?

I hope it bombs really hard.
Hasn't it already?
Taking a quick look, EM sold 60k lifetime, but I don't know if you would consider that bombing since Mickey games don't really have much presence in Japan.Yes it did everywhere else, but not in Japan yet. What would be considered a bomba for this game? Less than Epic Mickey?
What? Only the Wii/360/PS3 released in the west right? And these are coming out for Japan?I don't know if it matters (it doesn't) but Epic Mickey 2 is launching on Wii, Wii U, and 3DS on September 26th according to Shinobi's twitter account (same day as WWHD).

3DS 41,146
PSP 6,197

Wii 1,252
Wii U 5,031
PS3 10,871
Donkey Kong - 94.334
Gyrozetter - 19.051
We've been through this already, this year didn't have as many release as last year in the first half. Without AC and Luigi, the numbers would have been abysmal.strange to see the 3DS behind in YTD when this year was nothing but quality for the system. Well Pokemon/MH4 will fix this, big time.

Ah 3DS version did too, so I suppose Wii U is the only one they had to up port?
