It's ok to post ads right?
I would expect Nintendo to at least mention the Wii U version but oh well.
Probably want people to focus on 3ds version for now.

What was Hino's reasoning then?
Yes, ads are always okay.
Maybe i'm asking too much. But there's any thread for the Road to TGS, or at least a link to check what was announced since you started until now?
I'll go whip something up that's easily accessible. Perhaps a google doc with clickable links to the posts.
Other new 3DS game announcements are Sonic Powered with Japan Railway! Hieizan Train Edition (23 October) and MTO with Syunsoku Mezase! Zenkoku Saikyou Runner (30 October). Elminage Ibun: Ame no Mihashira has also been dated for 23 October.
That would be great, thanks.
Its a three page interview where he talks about Yokai Watch, transmedia, and smartphones a lot, so if anyone could do even a short summary that would be wonderful.
Google Translate gave a certain impression of what the answers were, but given it's really not great with Japanese I don't want to give any info with that in case I got the opposite impression of what he actually said.
*sigh* if it ain't Planes, it's Trains with Sonic Powered, how about a more meaningful retail 3DS game eh?!

Sorry I meant to write PS4, but got so used to typing PS3 for these lists. The Tomorrow Children is a PS4 title.
That I know, but Road to TGS counts anything from Japanese developers from August 1st to the end of TGS regardless of where it was announced. And it was a Gamescom title.
I only have the final list: http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=83263149Do we have a comparable list for last year, at the same distance from (i.e. days before) TGS?
Another PS4 title got delayed.

LOL. Gotta give them credit though for being among the first few third party developers to release a game for PS4. It's a shame big companies like Bandai Namco, Capcom and Square Enix still struggle or can't be bothered to take a step forward.aww yeah. Glad Compile heart is focusing on polishing on what already seems like a masterpiece.
I only have the final list: http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=83263149
Well, always better than nothing Thanks!
Btw, I suppose there should also be Hero Bank 2 among the Road to TGS announcement...didn't it get announced in the Road's timeframe?

Doesn't look like it, at least according to Amazon.co.jp.What a weird feeling to finally see an XB1 title listed in Japan.
The launch is less than two weeks away, much excitement among the Japanese gamers?

I think we can safely conclude the PS4 is the worst selling PlayStation in Japan ever because it did not launch with Ridge Racer.
I don't know if we're looking at the same thing but all 3 of those lists look equally terrible.Wow. That is a lot of software that is nowhere to be found on PS4. A lot of the games that people were buying during the first six months of PS2 and PS3 haven't even been announced for PS4.
You've got:
-Japanese Wrestling game
-Armored Core (or any From Software game)
-Street Fighter (and EX3 was a shitty spin off. They couldn't even get a shitty spin off out?)
-Dynasty Warriors
-Japanese Baseball game
-Dead or Alive
-Kessen (lets just say Koei game)
-Tekken
-Ridge Racer
-Virtua Fighter (So many fighting games. What's going on with fighting games in 2014?)
-Mobile Suit Gundam
As far as I know, the only games announced for PS4 that are even remotely related to the list above is Tekken 7 (2015), Bloodborne (A From Software title, 2015), and Guilty Gear (A fighting game, 2014). I understand that with mobile/handheld domination in Japan, it's probably not worth the effort to even try and make sequels to the games listed above on PS4, but still. It's a damn shame.
Instead, during the first 6 months of PS4, the only games released that are really aimed at the Japanese market have been:
-MGS V demo (also on PS3)
-Yakuza (also on PS3)
-FIFA 14 (also on PS3)
-Final Fantasy XIV (also on PS3)
That's kinda pathetic.

Koei's released like three or four PS4 games already.
Also, FIFA is aimed at the Japanese market???

There was already a Dynasty Warriors game on PS4. It did about as well as Warriors 3 Orochi Hyper on Wii U.
PS4 Dynasty Warriors 8 with Xtreme Legends 13,576 40,823 Koei Tecmo 2014-02-22
WIU Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper 6,184 35,000 Koei Tecmo 2012-12-08
I don't get the "any game by From" thing, they weren't really a big name back them. (they still aren't but their profile increased quite a bit).
The PS3 sales are also just as terrible if not worse.
Really? For some reason I'm having a really hard time finding a master list of PS4 games in Japan. I figured if they were out they'd crack the top 10... which isn't particularly hard to crack.

Here's a list of everything release on PS4 in Japan to date.
It looks like you're using Famitsu data. Orochi 3 Hyper's reporting period is nine months. DW8XL is four.
While FIFA has had some success on Japanese iOS, I don't think it's actually ever done especially well on consoles, has it?

Yesssssss
Theres one on PS2 that did 252k
The PS4 one is already at 100k and has outsold the PS3 FIFA's as far as I know. It also seems the PS4 user base adopts western games better than its predecessors.
I'd say FIFA14 has been partially influenced by the special PS4 bundle and the fact it had an 80% discount for Plus users.
