I was looking at the yodobashi stock. I have no idea how good an indicator that is.But what if he was saying it sarcastically?
Not in the Top 20 so less than 20pt. I believe it will sell well though. No Comgnet nubers for Bravely Default?
Bomba week redux.Comgnet final pre-order points:
[3DS] Inazuma Eleven Raimei / Neppu (184pt) - 170,980
[3DS] Inazuma Eleven Big Bang / Supernova (62pt) - ?
[WII] Dragon Quest X (318pt) - 420,311
[WII] Dragon Quest X: Version 2 (93pt) - ?
[PS3] Gran Turismo 5 (665pt) - 410,486
[PS3] Gran Turismo 6 (150pt) - ?
Youkai Watch - 3,500 / 219,040 (+32%)
I need this game.
Bomba week redux.
At least for DQX it is just an expanded version. The other two though, yikes. Level-5 have potentially killed off the Layton, Inazuma Eleven and Little Battlers franchises. Incredible.
I find business-y looks at game franchises super-fascinating but don't know crap about any of those franchises. What did they do to mess it all up?
PS3] Gran Turismo 5 (665pt) - 410,486
[PS3] Gran Turismo 6 (150pt) - ?
It's not in the top 20.
FtS is going to sell significantly less and nobody should be screaming bomba next week because it is normal for re-releases with added content to perform this way.
Not in the Top 20 so less than 20pt. I believe it will sell well though.
Fantasy Life Link didn't chart on Comg either, but it sold 18k at launch and 70k LTD.
lol
- Total number of sales pass 348K (343K PS3 version, 5K 360 version)
Those Vita/WiiU comparisons. Never count Nintendo out. Vita has no chance of becoming big. Wii U still has a chance do to decently because of Nintendo franchises. And they can create a hit out of nowhere. Sony Japan Studios on the other hand...
PS3's Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII took second place with 54K units sold

- In two weeks, Lightning Returns has surpassed the 300,000 super-hit mark

lol
No one should count Nintendo out, they are still a dominant force in the handheld market. But the WiiU ain't looking bright man.
But hey, at least it's guaranteed the WiiU will sell more than the xbox one in Japan.
dem GBA numbers. makes me smile.
GOAT handheld deserves it
Hmmm...let's not jump the gun.
More popular than Lightning at leastSadly? Digimon is still popular? 3DS can keep that game
I hope you're not suggesting for even a second that there's a statistically significant percentage that the Xbox One will do even 1/2 of the Wii U's sales in Japan.
Edit: On second thought, I guess there is a >1% chance of it doing 1/2 of Wii U's sales.
Why did you want that edit? There isn't. XB1 will be lucky to match the original XBox LTD.
She's still popularMore popular than Lightning at least
I really doubt MS will change its stance towards the Japanese market this generation. They can moneyhat all the exclusives they can under the sun but it didn't work for the Xbox, it didn't work for the 360, and it certainly wouldnt help them with the Xbox oneHmmm...let's not jump the gun.
I guess they want it for PS4.Is there any explanation for the decline from GT5 to GT6? Is it just a lack of interest?

Can't tell if it this is a joke or not lol.I guess they want it for PS4.
Yea, you're right, but it just seems like a huge drop in terms of pre-order numbers. Hopefully it isn't as sharp of a decline as the pre-order numbers seem to indicate.Just look at the numbers for the previous ones.
The second installment in a generation always sells less (worldwide), and the series is on a downward trend in Japan.
Another game series less for Konami - the next Penguin no Mondai is being published by Alchemist http://www.al-kids.jp/penmon_plus/
It's pretty clear that Wii was anomaly on the Nintendo way to irrelevance on home console market.
Namco released some new screenshots for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.
There seems to be a fairly large amount of effort for an anime tie-in game, so I feel this could have some success.
Famitsu released a HW sales chart back to '94!? Do you have a link?Wii U is gonna be 1 year-old this Sunday, but it's already been on 52 tracking weeks:
